The lady I went to see was amazing, attentive, and helped the best she could though I didn't get what I was looking for in the end because they wanted me to go to another city for an evaluation. HOWEVER. A little over a year from my last visit I get an email saying I have a balance that needs paid and I only have a week to pay it. I message them asking what it's for since there was no description of care in the details. I get a call from people with thick accents I can't understand which is fine but I emailed asking about discussing over email instead of phone for my hearing problems. They called again. Eventually after several weeks they email me showing that it was my balance after insurance, so I paid it. Now, months later, I am still receiving calls from their billing department telling me I still haven't paid that bill even though I have a receipt.
My 2 sons went to this place for about a year then there insurance was no longer accepted there. Which is fine, a year later now I am getting hounded with phone calls daily that I owe them over $2,500 per child because they didn't bill my insurance in time for it to be covered. Mind you my insurance gives 3 month back pay when they no longer accept work with a doctor. They admitted to not file the bill in time for this to be covered and now want me to cover it out of pocket. This is in no way my fault. They have also tried to charge for missed appointments and my children have never missed an appointment EVER!!! They threaten to send it to collections and never have anyone who speaks English to speak with. Lawyers have been contacted. Stear clear!!!
Wonderful first time visit w Jim porter. Very compassionate, and helpful! I feel a great feeling of hope and relief after leaving this appointment. I plan to make regular visits and get my ptsd and crippling anxiety under control for one of the few times in my life!
Today I visited Harmony United Psychiatric Care to see a new Provider and the visit went extremely well. The gentleman was caring, listened closely and I felt understood. I will try a new medication and go from there. All in all, a very satisfying outcome.
They are saying I haven’t been seen since November while I’ve been seeing my psychiatrist monthly. Now I have nothing no meds no help no explanation. I literally hope someone teaches them a lesson they will never forget
I went to this place ONCE in September of 2022. It is now July 2023 and I am still getting random bills and payments. They are threatening to send $47.25 to collections when I have paid $100+. This place is a money scam. do not go here. How does one appt. continue to need payments??? Surely i can just call them right? WRONG. Everytime i call i get someone who cannot speak english very well and they can't tell me what i'm actually paying for. I got charged $100 for an appt. no show when i did in fact cancel that appt. ahead of time. You go to this place once and you get billed for life. Total money grab.
Staff at the office are fantastic. Paying $200 for an online evaluation for something diagnosed and consistently treated for 20 years, along with a drug test - 0 stars. Once you pay for the unscientific online test, you then have to email proof of payment, call in multiple times to have Edward S release the portal code, do the Hokey Pokey, turn yourself around…. This is a total cash grab, and wholly unnecessary. Find a good primary care doctor and ask him/her for a referral of a particular specialist. It will be worth the extra step.
Overall a fine experience. My son just didn’t vibe with the lady he was assigned. We will definitely be back but will be trying someone new. Hopefully the next one he will feel more comfortable with.
Terrible service and they scheduled an appointment for me which I never agreed to, then charged me for not going to the apt. The audacity… still keep getting pestered by their billing even now two years later threatening to send it to “collections” which is hilarious.
I've been a patient for 4+ years now across four or five different providers doing primarily in person appointments and beginning telemed when covid hit. I've loved every provider that I've had except for one and I think it was a one-off and she had incorrect information on file or something of the sort. Every other provider I have had legitimately cared about my health and mental state and would do everything in their power to help. The call office is all handled via a call center but its 5 stars because the longest I've ever been on hold was 5 minutes and normally I get a live person within 60 seconds of dialing. That says it all. The in person office is always very friendly and quick. My only 'complaint' is that they no longer accept my aetna insurance If Harmony is even to blame, might be Aetna but after attempting to find another provider with the level of service Harmony provides I gave up and returned as a cash customer. Sherry Roberts is my current provider and I can tell she truly cares about my health, not pretends or acts, actually cares, and helps me find the best options out of everything available. I was afraid when I would lose one of my old providers they all relocated out of state but almost every time I'd meet someone new they would at least match or in this case surpass previous experiences.
