MASSAGE SPECIALTIES
-SWEDISH and DEEP TISSUE massage relaxes and energizes the whole body, which does wonders for every-day stress and wear-and-tear on the body.
- I have had great success with MYOFASCIAL RELEASE THERAPY. This type of massage focuses on the entire body's connective tissue and how it interferes with range of motion, flexibility, pain, discomfort, and ultimately, restriction of activity.
- SPORTS and STRETCH massage looks at specific restrictions in muscle groups and allows me to help clients prepare for athletic events and achieve a quicker recovery times after working hard at hobbies or sports activities.

HOW I SERVE MY CLIENTS
I named my business Harmony BodyWork & Massage because I believe that the body, mind and spirit are the three parts that make the whole of each person and that three parts need to work together, in harmony, for us to be at our best! I get to know my clients and learn how their specific lifestyle affects how they feel in their bodies. In addition to massage, I may work with clients on anything from posture to breathing techniques to ensure that I am doing everything within the scope of my practice to help them improve their quality of life.
PERSONALIZED SESSIONS
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to the needs of my clients. Each massage client is given a detailed evaluation and consultation to determine the best course of therapy. Each 30, 60, 90 or 120 minute bodywork session is full (doesn’t include changing time) and is completely personalized to the client’s needs and goals. Sessions may include one or a combination of therapies, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, or Sports/Stretch.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
I attended The Body Therapy Center and School of Massage in Swansea, IL, in 2013 with a focus on Myofascial Release Therapy. I certified in both Massage and Myofascial Release in January 2014 and opened Harmony BodyWork & Massage (now Harmony BodyWork & Float) in June of that same year. I have earned continuing education hours in Sports Massage, having worked on professional athletes at the St. Louis Football Club as well as sports stretching and conditioning for both pre and post running events. I am working towards my Cranial Sacral licensing and continue self-education on emotions and how they affect our bodies. I have approximately 1,500 hours of hands-on experience and have an absolute passion for helping people feel good in their own bodies!
