The association operates the Park Bookshop located on Shenandoah St. in Harpers Ferry Park. The bookshop is open seven days a week and offers books and media about the history and natural history of Harpers Ferry including the Shenandoah Valley region, the Civil War, industrial and transportation history, 19th century African American history and history of the national parks. It also has a large children's section. Proceeds from all sales benefit park programs.

These associations provide high-quality, NPS-approved publications, maps, videos, theme-related merchandise, and educational programs to help visitors understand the natural and cultural significance of our national parks.
The mission of the Harpers Ferry Park Association is to enhance the visitor experience at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park by supporting the park’s interpretive and educational programs and providing aid to conservation and preservation projects. Our vision is to connect park visitors to the natural beauty, unique history, and cultural heritage of Harpers Ferry and to inspire present and future generations of park supporters and advocates.
