Something for everyone….seafood, pizza, salads, sandwiches, burgers. Nice place with wood and brick with a large bar. We were seated quickly despite being a Friday night without a reservation. Daily specials posted by the entrance, or ask your server. Cocktails were pricey and not great for the price. Better bet was a glass of house wine…huge glass and great pour for $6!!! I had a BBQ chicken pizza. It was huge. Crust was great; really thin and crispy but not burnt, but the chicken lacked flavor /seasoning. My husband had the hickory smoked salmon which he liked. It was a good sized piece of fish and cooked to his liking.
When I lived in Beverly Woods in the 90's, this gem had just opened. It is still one of the best restaurants in Charlotte and Southpark. In 20 plus years I have never had a bad meal or experience at Harper's. Service is excellent, food is great and served quickly.
Wonderful warm atmosphere and great lighting. Our waitress was simply amazing and energetic. We ordered the chicken supremes which were indeed, supreme. Would definitely make the trip back again just to eat there!Food: 5/5
Visiting Charlotte area for my Aunt’s 100th birthday, also visited my relatives and friends of my wife and I. One couple was my best friend from Elementary school through High school. We still keep in touch after 65 years! Arranged a time to come see them and take them to dinner. Last year we were up and took them to a Cajun restaurant uptown. She had never had Crawfish Etouffee which I asked for extra spicy and literally choked on the heat. So this time we went to their favorite restaurant - good ol’ meat and potatoes! My friend’s wife suggested their Chicken Supreme, their version of elevated Chicken Strips. Her and my wife ordered that dish. My friend raved about their Chili so I decided to have a bowl of that. He and I also ordered a Loaded Baked Potato and he was sharing his wife’s Chicken. Our drinks came and we chatted for a bit, catching up on the news from the past year. Our food came shortly. My wife loved the Chicken Supreme! I tried a bite and it was crispy and fluffy, not heavily battered, and really good. All agreed. Also my baked potato was very good. However the chili was a real let down. No kick at all and fairly bland. I guess my BF’s tastes are not similar to mine.
I love the staff here. The food is amazing and from scratch. You know you are in a special place as soon as you get out of the care just because of the aroma wafting in the air. It is just amazing. Pizza is just the appetizer! Vegetarian options: Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, keto and any other options you can think of friendly. It's a from-scratch kitchen so they can do anything you want. Parking: Lots of parking options. Lots of handicap spots and very handicap accessible.
I’m not really a big fan of this place because they don’t really have a selection on the menu for vegans but the fries are literally amazing.. I only come here because my Bestfriend really likes this place but I do wish they had some vegan options.
I actually enjoyed the food and cozy atmosphere of this restaurant. The staff was very friendly as well! We will return!
Great environment! My pasta was great! The chicken & waffles + mimosas were just okay. Pretty basic. Great customer service.
Not a large menu but good choices for lunch fare. Ribs were excellent. Club sandwich was overflowing with turkey. Service was outstanding. After eating ribs, I was given a wet warm towel with a lemon to clean my hands. Sigh.....top notch service still exists.... What a treat this lunch was.
I’m originally from Illinois so I’ve had lots of great pizza. That being said, this could possibly be the best pizza’s that I’ve ever had.
