Everything was awesome! Great views! Great customer service! Denise in the bar took very good care of us. Peel and eat shrimp was our favorite. Food came out quick! We will be back!
While spending some time at Fisherman’s Village decided to stop by and have a beer and a bite. Placed in a gorgeous location Harpoon’s has a great and very fast service. Besides a Yeungling beer and the All American Hard Lemonade for my companion I’ve ordered mild buffalo wings 10 fir $11 which came quickly. Perfect! Great experience overall, hope to come to dine sometime in the future. Recommended if you come to the Fisherman’s Village!
Business is booming. Got there around lunch time. Busy. Waited about 15. Found the seat near the edge of the water. Granddaughter loved it. The day was overcast but beautiful. Taking order was quick but the food talk a little longer because of being busy. We just enjoyed the view looking out to the water. My wife had coconut shrimp basket, I had grouper basket and my granddaughter had kids meal grouper small basket. The food was great. Could have used a little bit more seasoning. We had a great time there and then we left to walk the stores nearby. Recommended highly! Features: I was done with the covid restrictions. Everything back to normal. Everybody was having fun.
The atmosphere is great and being able to sit outside right by the water is always amazing. We loved watching the boats coming and going. FYI yes you can get their by boat and there are docks available for restaurant use Most of us got some sort of seafood and it was delicious. My daughter who doesn't eat any type of seafood got a cheese steak sandwich which she enjoyed. The prices were for the most part average but some dishes were a little pricey. The drinks were ice cold, the waitress was very friendly and the overall restaurant was very clean. They like almost always were very busy but productive. We ate lunch there on a Sunday and was very disappointed in the amount of items they were out of. Part of this could be due to the shortages all over the country so I didn't take off any stars because of it. I was however really looking forward to having some oysters with my lunch. As was was my son who wanted to try their shark bites. Hopefully they will have them next time we din.
This place has been here forever! I used to go here with the family as a child. Harpoon Harry's is at the absolute end of Fisherman's village for those navigating through the time capsule with small shops that still have reasonable prices. The beer was below average in my taste in temperature, food was average, service isn't the greatest, but it could have been just a bad day to go? I'll be back next year, so I hope to improve the rating, but for now I just can't ignore expectation vs. reality. The views are great, and there's a nostalgic factor still left at the facility.
When we arrived at noon on a Saturday, all the booths along the water were filled, so we chose the booth in the second row on the far right, which still offered a lovely view of the water. We ordered a shrimp basket with fries and slaw, and a calamari appetizer basket as an entree. We were not disappointed by either one. There were ten nice sized breaded shrimp along with tasty fries and a small container of slaw. The shrimp were cooked just right. The appetizer serving of calamari was huge. The calamari had just the right amount of breading and were hot and fresh. The side of marinara sauce was tasty. I was surprised at how good the calamari were since this place didn't seem like a high end restaurant. Our server Justin did a great job, politely and timely. He seemed pretty busy but never rushed us, and refilled our sodas each time they got low without us needing to ask. The views here are amazing and give you that relaxed Florida vacation feeling. I would definitely go back again and order the seafood.
AMAZING view, terrific food beer served in plastic cups, and even the walk to get to the restaurant was scenic! Located at the end of the Fisherman's Village "Mall," Harry's is an open-air raw bar! The most tranquil view of the harbor is located right here! Enjoy your coctail, eat your gator tail, wings, or raw oysters, and watch the boats cruise right by or up to the restaurant! A must visit while in Punta Gorda and a local staple that has earned its place in the top restaurants by the waterfront!
Fun place on the water front for drinks and food. Can be very busy so check times. Grouper and Mahi is excellent. Met owners from Black Gold megalodon shark tooth hunters here Very cool.Food: 4/5
While working in the area for six weeks, I went to Harpoon Harry's four times. I wouldn't have kept going back if I didn't like it! It is a fantastic place to watch the sunset over the harbor and enjoy the breeze. Great Key Lime Pie and awesome Key Lime Colada. Bartenders and servers were all nice - food was your normal bar fare and normal touristy prices. It is by far my favorite eatery in Fisherman's Pier!
I was on a girl's trip for the weekend and we went here to eat. It was tasty and prices were reasonable to me. I got the lobster dip and a Philly steak and cheese. The lobster dip was awesome and the Philly was just okay. What I did like was we were right on the ocean at our table it was beautiful. The waiter was nice and attentive as well. I would go back again! Oh, yeah we had chocolate cake too.
