Drove from Georgia. Love this casino. Only downsides are no free drinks and no poker. Gotta buy drinks for $10. If you want to play poker, gotta go the neighbor casino 20 minutes away. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Dealers also teach. Gave out masks at entrances.
Very adorable with great views. The room was comfortable and roomy. They had many different food and dinning options. Staff was very accommodating to your need. If you like to gamble this is the perfect place. It is also a great place to stay even if you don’t gamble which worked for us. It’s close to many different surroundings towns.
Save money and time. Go to Dave and Buster's. We thought about staying the night and asked to see a suite. No suites. We were shown their biggest room. Not so big and only available for comped high rollers. Even though it is only a 90 minute drive from me I have absolutely no desire to go back. We did have dinner in their only sit down restaurant. Skip that too.
I've been to complete better places then this casino. I was expecting it to be a great place but boy was I wrong. When u get there parking is so screwed up not for the fact that every inch of place is blocked off for construction and there are no signs to point u in right direction. Once u finally get parked u have to walk through construction to door.once u get inside it looks promising till u get on casino floor. I got to casinos to gamble and drink. Then I came to be told that they don't offer u free drinks and not are u allowed to smoke and when u do decide to pay for a drink the drinks start at a ridiculous from what I seen $11.00 and up and it's very small. They also say they offer free soft drinks and water . I asked for a Dr.pepper and they charged me $2 . I would never ever go bk I would drive all the way back to the Sliver star hotel in Mississippi
Really enjoyed my stay here in early October 2023! Rooms are really clean beds very comfortable. Food court is decent I just drove to local places in town to eat. Really like casino and the new sportsbook is great! If you don’t like the big casino oh and it’s smoke free that’s a big plus. All the employees are very friendly and helpful. Will be back! Nearby activities: Casino and short drive to blue ridge parkway Noteworthy details: Parking is only gripe. Currently construction going on to expand hotel and casino not sure how long that will go on. But you can drop off at the front when checking in and out
We normally take our mother to visit the casino occasionally twice a year. She's 88yrs old and has been gambling ever since my brother's and sisters were elementary school age. We are now all in our our middle 60s all 5 of us. My mom enjoys it. She can barely get around because of her knee, but when my sister and I tell her we're taking her to the casino for her birthday somehow she starts doctoring on her knee and it gets a little better for the trip. We live in Marietta so it's not too far for us to drive. She loves it and we just want her to have a good time, and she does, EVERY TIME!!! We have never stayed in the hotel. She likes her own bed.
The staff were all super nice during our visit today. My wife and I love to visit when we can. Alright people, let's get one thing straight. There is no such thing as loose or tight slot machines. All slot machines are controlled by a random number generator, and the casino absolutely does not have the ability to change how or when a machine pays. As for the denominations, 25 cent or higher denoms will usually payout higher line hits. This is how the machines are designed to play. 100 pennies or 4 quarters is still 1 dollar. Do your research, watch some YouTube videos, and pay these folks a visit for a great time.
My first visit to the casino hidden in the mountains of North Carolina in a nice quiet town of Murphy. My only complaint was there was any sitting chair in my room. I like to read. Sherrie was very nice and helpful. And a big shout out to Bill and Travis at the bellhop
Went to the casino. Did not stay at the hotel. If you sign up for a players card you get $25 free play. Very cool. Player tiers pretty easy to access. If you like to gamble everything easy to get to. The table games were full but the couple that were not, did offer to teach me. You don't always get that at Hard Rock. Harrah's is very friendly and the bar prices are reasonable and close by. All the staff was nice and were joking with us. Wish it was closer!
My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Harrah’s Valley River in Murphy, NC. The hotel was extremely clean with comfy beds and with amazing views. The casino is small but very clean and well situated. We loved it. Everyone was kind and helpful. Super nice food court. We’re already planning a trip back there.Rooms: 5/5
