I wanted to share my experience with you. I brought my family here for a 2 night stay. We were looking forward to a great trip. I’m traveling with my wife and 3 little girls ages 7,3,& 16months. The family pool was never cleaned. We arrived when it opened at 10am garbage all on the floor, water cloudy with debris floating around. Needless to say my kids didn’t go in and were extremely disappointed. I made a complaint and let it run its course. The next morning my daughter drops her toy behind the head rest of the bed. This is where a used condom was discovered. Unacceptable. Not returning to this hotel after the lack of care this place has.
I love Harrah’s it now my go to casino/ hotel!!! They have all the food network all stars there for quick eat options. The room was clean an modern and if I could take the bathroom home with me I would. This hotel had a your vibe to it! No like some of the other hotels our parents frequent. They have a adults only pool you have to be over 21 and at night it turns into a club!!! The music was awesome and it was definitely a vibe!!! We start in the waterfront tower.
Where do I begin? From my arrival there were immediately issues. After a 5 hour drive I used the self check-in machine to avoid the line. The machine was getting stuck but a worker was able to get my confirmation paper and keys out of it. Both keys that were dispensed did not work to get us into the room. After trying the keys multiple times, I went back down to the lobby and waited in the long check in line so someone could assist us. I got new keys for the room, and those did not work either. So I had to go back downstairs again and at that point they switched our room as a resolution. I wasted a whole hour during this check in process. The new room had many things that were not working. I went downstairs to speak to staff yet another time about the issues and they said there were no other available rooms for the night but that they would call me in the morning to make a switch. We did not request any maintenance as my friend was already in the room asleep. She was woken up in the middle of the night by a maintenance worker. Why would they request maintenance in the middle of the night when I had already told them my friend was in there sleeping?? On top of that, I received no call in the morning to switch rooms so I had to request it myself in the lobby and wait in line yet again. FINALLY 2 days into the trip we got a suitable room. The customer service was really lacking, not to mention you have to pay to use the pool even as a hotel guest. The hours of the pool are not even listed correctly online so people were lining up an hour early. Many of the slot machines were out of order. Drinks are $20+ any bar you go to. Parking is not free. Everything comes out of your pocket. I was denied a refund by customer service so I will not be back.
Subject: Unacceptable Treatment by Valet Staff at Harrah's Hotel & Casino Dear Harrah's Hotel & Casino Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the disrespectful treatment I recently experienced from your valet staff. As a loyal customer who has spent a considerable amount of money to park at your establishment, I expected a certain level of service and courtesy, which regrettably was not upheld during my recent visit. Upon arriving at your hotel and casino, I entrusted my vehicle to your valet service, fully expecting to be treated with respect and professionalism. However, the behavior I encountered from your valet staff was far from what I anticipated. Not only did I receive a lackluster and dismissive attitude, but I also sensed an overall lack of consideration for my patronage. It is disheartening to think that after spending a significant sum of money at your establishment, I would be met with such disrespect from a service that is supposed to uphold your brand's reputation. As a guest, I believe I deserve to be treated courteously and attentively, regardless of the circumstances. I kindly request that you address this matter promptly and take appropriate action to ensure that other patrons do not face a similar experience. Customer service is a vital aspect of any successful business, and incidents like these tarnish the reputation you have worked hard to build. I hope that by bringing this issue to your attention, you will take the necessary steps to address the behavior of your valet staff and prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. I have always enjoyed my visits to Harrah's Hotel & Casino, and I would like to continue doing so without any reservations about the treatment I might receive. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to seeing the necessary improvements in your customer service standards. Sincerely, [MR.S550
I recall this being a nice resort when I stayed here several years ago, though things have changed significantly. Understandably the pandemic changed a lot of things, but this was shocking. First off, our room was decent, but we stayed there for three days and had multiple people in the room, and no one came to clean once. Even when asked. We accumulated so much garbage that there were bags of it siting around the room. Next issue are the excessive fees and pricing for everything! The pool used to be free for guests, but now you must pay $10 and you pay to rent certain chairs, and the drinks are $20. You must pay if you want to connect your wifi on more than two devices. Want coffee? Six dollars, please! Want to buy a bottle of water or soda before you head to your room? $5, and $7 if you want some snacks. Another issue are the off dining times. Some restaurants are only open on weekends, some are closed on Monday and Tuesday, Coastal Kitchen and Craft only open in the morning, so there's not many dining options depending on when you are visiting. Overall, Harrah's resort is not the place I remember. It used to be my favorite next to the Borgata, but now everything has become overpriced and less enjoyable. I give it two stars because the floor staff/security were very kind and helpful to me and my family when we needed them, so I want to acknowledge that. However, I'm afraid I will not be visiting again.
I'd recommend staying anywhere else. Our door was messed up so you had to force it open and closed each time. Room was dirty as hell but we were told it had been cleaned that day hair in the shower was the first give away We got stuck in the elevator for about an hour because it decided to stop between floors bucket list ?? Check in and out was easy via kiosk, bed was super comfy and held up to the abuse it was given for the weekend! It's pretty close to the perfect height.
Stayed for an overnight family trip. Tanaysia checked us in and was very pleasant. She offered us an upgrade and we asked for a room in the newer tower. We ended up getting a double queen bed in the waterfront tower and it was very nice. We had a great view and the room was very clean. We called for extra blankets and they came in a timely manner before we stepped out. I wasn't a big fan of the "Family swimming pool" but my youngest enjoyed himself. Overall the hotel was a 8/10.
This hotel has great employees. Everyone went out their way to be above and beyond. Self parking is easy and the garage is enormous. Check in and check out done in person at the desk. No wait. Great fast easy service. Had keys and an early room in 5 minutes. Water tower room was great for three of us for a night. Big bathroom. Soft comfy beds. Great view. The Pool itself is great. Bring a float and kick back for a while. Smoking allowed upstairs and outside on a huge outside terrace. Drinks here are mixed great. The casino doesn’t pay out but it’s clean and fun. Lots of games and lots of bars. The cafe is 24/7 and has amazingly fresh food and coffee. Pastries, cereal, soups, sandwiches, deserts, gelato, drinks… Cute place to grab a bite. Sports book was not crowded and great seating. Smoking areas and tiny dog park outside. Gordon Ramseys steakhouse lived up to the hype. Expensive but not outrageous and every bite of every dish was phenomenal and absolutely worth it. We had apps, three different entrees and sides and loved it. They recommended the G&T, which was the best I ever tasted. Not an exact beach destination. Beaches are located ten minutes away. There is a bay view walking path that circles the property with boardwalk and park benches at the point. People are hating on this resort but it’s not bad at all. Our experience was freaking awesome. For a night or weekend away, it’s worth it.
When i made the reservation the cost would be over $700 for 6 nights. They said they would charge $150 as security that I would get back. When I got home I saw over $300 as the first charge. I imagine next month they will charge the rest. It took 2hrs to get paper cups in the room for coffee. If you check in on Saturday it's $257 for the first night and in the $50s for the other. $40 for Saturday valet parking and $25 for weekdays. It took too long to turn in the car and to get it back. I spent most of my time with friends at Brigantine Beach. I was not happy at Harrah's.
