My family has dealt with Harris Funeral home for years. The service is impeccable. Always professional always courteous. Sheila is so wonderful. I met her at 17 when my granny passed and she made everything so easy for us, she allowed me to assist in the makeup and care of my granny. Today at 35 she is still amazingly wonderful and she remembered me from all of these years. Thought we’ve had death occur in between my mom and aunt dealt with all the arrangements and communication but now it is my turn because everyone is gone . These last few days are rough especially losing a mom but she has made everything easy. I thank her for her kind heart words and understanding as well as help during this difficult timing.
I like that it was very organized, very impressed about how smooth the transition was. I mean I thought planning a funeral was worst than planning a wedding. In theory it is because it’s a pretty morbid day, you have all this anxiety about everything going well. No one feeling left out, in emotionally connecting anyway. The staff at the Harrison funeral home were very understanding and flexible. They made it so all I had to do was focus on grieving, that’s how it’s should be honestly. I never thought I’d write a review for a funeral home. It is nice to know people who can deliver, on such a difficult day. I admire them and it was amazing, knowing someone we laid to rest this funeral home did it in such a dignified matter. Thank you guys
Harris Funeral Home staff is very kind, caring, and understanding of the emotional turmoil a death in the family can cause. Everything about their service was flexible, professional. They have everything you need under one roof, and are very helpful when assisting with the loss of a loved one. I'd recommend them if you are looking for a small intimate home-going celebration for a loved one, located in beautiful Berkeley California.
Harris Funeral Home has impeccable staff and made sure every aspect of my cousin's Justin Bell service was complete. The timing on top of the process of presentation made our whole family feel comfortable and at ease with such a loss. I definitely advocate for this funeral home. You can tell it is a family business because of the warmth and support they displayed to my family.
Harris Funeral Home Legacy Center has serviced my family for years. The main source that sticks out is the compassionate staff. They go above and beyond the needs. I really appreciate the fact that they will work with you if you're not financially able to afford a decent service. They helped our family find a discounted grave and other things needed such as family videos and program assistance. They are very patient and follow up with family after services. If you're looking for a funeral home that you can trust and depend on....call on them to service your needs!!!!
I cannot say enough positive things about my recent experience with Harris Funeral Home. It was just a simple cremation for a relative that I arranged from a distance. But they could not have been more understanding, helpful, and professional. Everyone I interacted with seemed genuine and real and Shakti truly went out of her way to provide personal and heartfelt service and connection. Wow!
This funeral home, and it's employees were not up to par. I found the staff to be very unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. I was not treated with respect, as a paying customer, I feel that this is important. I was having a memorial for a loved one, this facility was unorganized, untruthful, and in my opinion unfit to claim 'service that reflects the dignity of every family'. Lie after lie was told, materials paid for were not given to me in a timely manner; I don't believe obituaries should be left out of the service and copies made in house. I received the obituaries I ordered through this facility, after the memorial and after I was told there were no more available. Thumbs down.
Harris Funeral was very helpful and caring. They made sure that I was able to do what I wanted for the funeral and even added something to the service last minute with no complaints. I really recommend this funeral home to anyone who is sending a love one home.
Harris Funeral home staff are very friendly and patient. They pay attention to every detail and because of this my grandfather had an amazing viewing and funeral everything was a success I would most definitely recommend to all my family and friends!
Horrible funeral home! Terrible service's! I would never recommend anyone to go here ever. Shelia is a liar and a back stabber. She manipulates you for your money but doesn't do a good job at all. I was so disappointed in Antwan's services! And he used to work for you people when he was alive! Smh. The nerves of these people. Don't waste your money here. You'll be very disappointed!
