Great care, affordable pricing. Honest service. Took FOREVER. Thank God for this place because my 9 week old pup may have had parvo.
Came on a Friday and there were only nine slots available to sign up for of course those were full by 6:15. The security guard was really sweet and gave us suggestions for Monday of course we don't have a car so he even offered to let us sit inside the lobby if we didn't have a car. This used to be my primary veterinarian at the time when it was pet solutions so I do miss not being able to just make an appointment since all our records are there.
I took my dog in as a walk in at around 7:30am. We didn't get seen until about 11:30am. Other than the long wait everything was great. My dog ended up needing surgery to remove his eye and they also neutered him and trimmed his nails. He was released the same day. The veterinarian was very patient and answered all of my questions about the surgery, medications, and how it's going to be moving forward. They are the only vet that I could find that would work out a payment plan and its honestly very reasonably priced as it is. They're also helping me get the rest of my fur babies fixed! I am so thankful I found them!
If I could give them no stars I would. My dog broke his leg and I was referred to this place for cost reasons, well after 5 surgeries the vet told me that they were not able to remove the pin THEY placed. They said they did not have the skill or knowledge to do so!. Therefore I had to spend more than twice the amount for an orthopedic surgeon who was amazing to correct my pups leg. Now after almost two years my pup still favors his leg more often than not if I dont give him his medication, he requires physical rehabilitation still.
I took my dog in there this morning never have been there before my dog was in the back seat having seizures after Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital turned her away because I didn't have $1,500 they rushed out and got her in there and got her sedated and out of pain . There wasn't much they could do for her. When we got there she was in respitory distress. We had to put her down. I had no choice. She was suffering terribly. They were excellent they never left her sight not once. They also worked with me on the amount they had no problems whatsoever with that. They were more concerned about us then the cost. Thank you. R.I.P. my Lulu.
My dog has been coming here since we adopted him almost 12 years ago. I took him the other day because he had a huge infected lump on his belly. I wanted it removed. They charged us almost $400 for blood work and sedation and didn't even removed it just gave us antibiotics. They didn't try to talk to him at all. I understand a big dog coming in with a muzzle is intimidating but he has to wear it because they act like they don't like him. Give him some attention and he's very sweet. No bed side manner and over charge!
Would recommend to everyone! This is the only vet I have ever used in the 6 years of having pets. I have taken 2 dogs and 2 cats there numerous times. Perfect no complication neuters. They really work with you on only doing what is necessary to keep your costs down, they will talk it over with you before doing anything that would be an extra cost. For limited income families it really helps. I want my pets to have good health and to be able to take care of them like they deserve, with this vet I don't have to 'ignore their problems' so to speak. Thank you!
Our boxer had 2 surgeries 5 months apart for eating nerf foam balls and blocking his intestines. The care and treatment from their staff was beyond excellent. We had assistance and our fluff made 2 full recoveries. If it's bad and you cant afford alot this is the place to go. If they can help they will and if not they will point you in the right direction. We live an hour and a half from here and we will keep bringing our dogs here because of how awesome they are.
I had an awful experience here. They called me two hours after I dropped my dog off for surgery and left my non-refundable deposit, and said tat it was going to be an additional $200. They asked if I still wanted to do the surgery, and if I didn't, I would lose my deposit. I choose to go ahead with the surgery, my dog was suffering. I went back for a check up, they gave me some additional medicine for my dog, called me one hour later, stating that the medicine was an additional $60. I would not have taken they medicine if I knew that, it was a precautionary. I called to talk to the head of the hospital, I never received a call back. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
I’m writing this review while I’m sitting in the waiting room Horrible service. My dogs appointment was supposed to be at 11:45am I was here at 10:20am Still waiting to be seen. When I went up to the front desk the office rep knew I was there to ask WHAT’S GOING ON. So she went back to ask the tech what was the status on getting my dogs anal glands released which literally takes 10 minutes. The rep came back and said There is one tech and she is backed up I asked how long it was going to take she said maybe 20 minutes or longer. From my point of you they need to hire more techs or plan accordingly ever since they switch Over to the dumb friends league I feel like this place Has definitely gone downhill I have a total of four dogs and they’ve all been seen at Pet Aid they will no longer be seen at this establishment I will not recommend this company to any of my friends
