Harrison Middleton University is a for-profit private distance-learning university offering Master of Arts, Doctor of Arts, and Doctor of Education programs in the humanities. All degree programs at the university are discussion (Shared Inquiry) based; it is as if the students and Tutors are participating with the great authors in a conversation on ideas and issues that have concerned people in every epoch and cover a whole range of humanities inquiries and interests. With the guidance of an Instructional Team, students are able to design a degree program by developing the courses that meet their personal interests.In addition to degree programs, Harrison Middleton University offers continuing education units in humanities.Harrison Middleton University was founded in 1998. They are nationally accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), which is recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). On June 25, 2015, Harrison Middleton University was approved by the Arizona SARA Council to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.
