There was an elderly woman missing from her residence from the area on 03/06/2022. Pa Wilderness Search & Rescue was summoned to help locate the subject. A request was made to allow our team to utilize the Hartsville Fire Company as a command post for the search operation. The fire fighters opened their doors to our team and even relocated one of their fire apparatus outside so our command trailer could be brought inside to allow for quicker access to its contents and provide electric power for it's shore line. The fire crew also assisted in the search operation and provided crews for search tasks. The Local residents served by this department are blessed with a top- notched fire department and manned by true professionals. A real pleasure to work with.
