Family camping on the beautiful Bluffs of the Upper Iowa River, Campground near Harmony, MN

"Private family campground offers an amazing escape for every type of camper on the bluffs of the Upper Iowa River. We specialize in groups big & small. We're known for our beautiful lawns and awesome staff. We transformed the family dairy farm into a resort-style campground and built it with things for mom and the whole family to love because "if mama ain't happy, nobody's happy." Enjoy clean ceramic-tile shower houses, playgrounds & sand volleyball, no mosquitoes, free wifi & garbage pick-up, firewood delivery, two dump stations, spacious laundry room, hair salon, convenience store, and canoe, kayak, & tube rentals. Oh and plenty of fishing."

Our family had an amazing weekend camping here. The campsites are generous and the owners are so friendly and easy going. We were busy with family reunion and golfing so couldn't take advantage of the river activities, but will definitely be back for that! Restrooms: Super clean! Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs in the campground, but rarely knew it, no excessive barking and responsible pet owners. The campground even provides a clean up station for your pets complete with disposal bags and trash bin.
We needed a rest stop for the last day of a big trip out west and tried this one and it turned out to be one of the best campgrounds we have stayed in!!! Great campground, nice level sites and very spacious!!! We enjoyed our kayaking trip as well!
NEVER AGAIN! We were given site 142 141 was on the end. The lady told that they did not book site 141 so we could park however we needed. We spent a half hour trying to figure out how we were going to fit our camper into the site which we assumed included the second firepit in. We even tried calling to the campground office to verify we were ok before we set up but since the cell service was HORRIBLE we couldn’t even get the call to go through! We finally figured out a way to fit and set up camp. After we were all set up Dave came by and told us we were in the wrong spot and would have to move by the next morning. We explained how we fit in using the #142 service pole and the second fire pit. He then told us that site 141 on the end doesn’t have a fire pit so we were using site 143’s pit! How were we supposed to know? Why would you even have a site without a fire pit? Our neighbors were a multiple unit group. When they started showing up that evening we went over to explain that we were told we would have to move by the next morning. The neighbors graciously told us they would fit fine with the area they had and that there was NO NEED for us to move…so we didn’t. Dave drove by and we saw him multiple times in the store throughout the weekend and nothing further was said. After we checked out and left we realized that our outrageous bill included an additional $89.88 charge for water and electric! We called to inquire and Dave told us that was because we didn’t move. We again explained the confusion on the site layout and also that our neighbors told us we were fine where we were at. We pleaded our case but Dave just said that we were charged because he told us to move. There was NO REASONING with him. When we told him that we would never be back his reply was simply, “OK”. Why would we camp somewhere that cares more about making cheap money than treating customers with respect??? N E V E R A G A I N!!!
Great time, wonderful..if chilly canoe trip. Note: you should not fall out of a canoe into 50° water...brrr. it was fun, the boyscouts had a great time. Oh, there's a camp store, and a game room.
Nicest campground you'll ever see, great staff, clean clean clean! Restrooms: Super clean!
Wow! Friendly staff, very clean campground, and always a great experience during the 4th of July!!
One of the nicest campgrounds we've been to. All of the staff were very helpful and fun to talk with. The grounds are immaculate with nice grassy areas. Campsites are designed for both individual or group camping. We will be back.
Extremely beautiful place to stay friendly staff and neighbors bug free and very cheap place to stay will definitely being staying there again and very highly recommend it to anyone
Totally recommend this campground. Have been staying here yearly for a dozen years or so. Dave and the crew are awesome. Extremely clean. Canoe/kayak/tubing service is great. Come enjoy some of what Iowa has to offer.
Beautiful campgrounds, but they only have 30amp service, it was very hot and humid when we stopped and then our line of campers blew the breaker, which they did come and fixed shortly. Also high price wood for , and hidden small fees for this and that. Pull through was not really pull through for big rigs. Pull in backed out fine. Or if roads were a little wider. Our one night stay was $38, wood, 2 sodas, deposit, booking feeswasn't told about this, taxes ended up $67.
