The people who work at Haskett Funeral Homes are nothing short of amazing. Haskett funeral home has been supporting families in a time of grief for many generations. What is the reason for their success? It is because they CARE...and they show it in the many ways they interact with families who are at a very emotional time of need! Both my parents have passed away and I am so glad we had the Haskett team supporting us in planning the visitations and funerals. The respect and care they showed our family truly made a difference! As a child, Hasketts made me feel important through the loss of my grandfather.I was never shunned or made feel that I was only a child. They allow the whole family to grieve in our own way. We all felt at home through the whole process. Through the loss of my stepgrandfather walking into the funeral home it feels like home, especially after a long drive. It's not cold or unwelcoming! The staff and atmosphere at this funeral home are always there to make you feel as though you are comfortable through a very difficult time. I would recommend them to anyone going through a loss. Ps. Colin, you do so much for the community and we appreciate it, no words can describe how you help us in not just loss but growth as well.
The Haskett Funeral Home team are a main stay in Lucan, Exeter & Zurich. At our darkest times, their kind and considerate guidance allows grieving families to have one less thing to worry about. The Haskett family is a great supporter of local initiatives, leading by corporate and personal example, of how to keep our town positive and growing. Personally, it was a simple comment from Colin, when we were making plans for my moms funeral, that reminded me why this company is more than a business. He said, "I wasn't sure who your mom was, but when I picked her up, I realized we had seen her just the other day, near Market St park, when our family was out for a walk. She needed help buttoning her coat." In life and in death, they take care of our families.
The warmth and care that the entire staff at Hasketts never ceases to amaze me. As a local business owner, I have been to well over 50 services over the years. The folks at Hasketts are compassionate caring people. While there, you are made to feel as welcome as family.
I have been lucky enough to live in the Lucan Biddulph area most of my life and have been to visitations and funerals many times in Lucan. I have had the pleasure of knowing 3 generations of Hasketts and all of them have been the highest in professionalism as well as compassion! I also work in long term care and have had the pleasure of dealing with the Hasketts from that side of their business. Again, nothing but professional, accommodating, compassionate yet most of all friendly and conversive to all they meet. One in a million! Thank you for all you do for our community!
I can’t say enough about the outstanding advice and care you receive from these down to earth professionals. Experiencing the loss of a loved one is a very difficult event. What can seem like an unbearable overwhelming task suddenly falls into place with one phone call. They lead, direct and advise all with compassion. You get a five star rating from not only me but my family as well.
I have known four generations now at Hasketts,have used their services many times with family members, from child ,husband ,parents,many aunts and uncles,and close friends ,have nothing but good to say about all these people .They go out of their way to see that every need is met at a very sad time in your life .Another very important thing that they do,and l hope that they never stop ,is meeting every visitor at the door with a hand shake.I have had Grandhcildren have to visit a funeral home in the city and they all says. "Oh it's not like Hasketts".There is really something to be said for small town hospitality..Thankful to have this classy business in out town of Lucan,Exeter and Zurich.
We sadly lost 2 family members within 2weeks of each other earlier this year. Wes was extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire process, and the whole team showed great compassion and kindness during an emotional time.
