Great school, consistently ranked highly in Michigan and the US. You can purchase swim passes for you and/or the family. The pool is nice and is open with good hours lots of good kiddie toys for use. The auditorium is nice, comfortable, and provides a great view of the stage from all seats.
Curriculum is outstanding. What I'm disappointed in is the lack of acceptance of differences in students and the unprofessional, extremely rude faculty, especially the office staff. We have been in the Haslett School District for one year now, and to feel so unwelcome and met with disrespect and hostility, each time I go into the school, is beyond sickening. My daughter has endured severe bullying and being victimized because she is a Multi-racial young woman. Every time I have gone into the school to speak with faculty, they treat me as if I've done something wrong, or as if my daughter has done something wrong. The office staff talks to me like they are upset that I had the nerve to bother them. I'm sorry, but as a school system, all faculty has a duty to protect my daughter, which they have failed. My daughter has learned that being different only fuels people's hatred and no matter what, she will be treated less than her student counterparts. Shame on you Haslett High School for your poor attitude and failure to accept differences and respect everyone who walks into your building.
Near perfect. Like all other great schools we have some wacky teachers, but like all schools with wacky teachers, some of them are so wacky that they can get you to actually learn things like math and spelling.
Great supportive environment for students with dedicated faculty and administration.
Nice school. Good school district
