August 30, 2019, this is my 2nd year here at HHS. The environment is good and the teachers are okay. The only problem I have with this school are it’s principals. Eric Boney, Mr. Andrews, and Ms. Short. These 3 bafoons that are hired to oversee my education are the most incompetent stooges I have ever seen. They are more concerned with wearing headphones than anything. I had my headphones in listening to music at approximately 8:24 and school don’t start until 8:30. Mr. Boney walked up to me while I was in the auditorium listening to music and told me and the young man next to me to give him our headphones. I asked why and when do I give them back, his response to me was “never”. And if I didn’t give him my headphones then I will get sent home. It’s sad that a “principal” would rather send a kid home over some headphones than give them back at the end of the day. I gave him my headphones and when I told him later on as I was going to class that he basically threatened and harassed me he told me to watch my words. During 2nd period I went to my counselors and asked to get a copy of the 2019-2020 student handbook. I read the entire handbook and it stated that property that is seized can be returned to the student at the end of the day or a parent/guardian can come get it from the school. NOWHERE does it say the student won’t get their property back EVER. I’m not pissed at the fact that my headphones were STOLEN by my own school. It’s the fact that they refuse to be held accountable. And if we don’t hold them accountable then who the hell will? Therefore since this rule is nowhere in our student handbook, students whose headphones have been took by school administrators should either receive their headphones back or be reimbursed. Especially since the handbook says that faculty/staff are allowed to take our stuff even though it says they are accountable to damaged property or stolen property.
Beautiful school. Wound up playing a soccer game here and they wouldn't allow our dog in. Not even on the concrete away from public seating. Had to watch our son play through a hole in the fence. What a joke
Its awesome I wish u could see the people and move across the buildings
