I had an appointment at 11a and didn’t get braided till 12:45 and didn’t get serviced till 1:22p. I honestly wanted to leave and not come back but I stayed. When I finally got in there the stylist was nice and we have great conversation. I wish it didn’t take so long but oh well. My hair turned out cute so I’m overall ok.

I went to Harriet pink On yesterday Saturday 10/02/2022. I had an appointment with hair stylist Essences. I had got a sew-in with a Closure. The hair style is cute, but essences did not Install the lace closure in correctly, if you were to see how the closure was installed , you would have asked me did you go to someone’s kitchen for that. I paid $125.. so I called/ texted Essence asking for a refund or fix this correctly. She told me that she would get back with me at the end of the day after she was finished with her clients to fix the lace. I never heard from Essence. So i Contacted the owner of Harriet pink hair Salon and talk with her and she had me send her photos. I never heard back from the owner. I called the owner back Several times and kept going straight to voicemail here it is Sunday, October 2, and I haven’t heard from the owner nor the hair stylist. This is bad business, Essence took my $$$ in now I can’t get anyone. If I could add photos I would , I’ve never experienced this I went to this place years ago and was happy with the work… Essence took my money and service was not served

I know the stylist do share, borrow and buy products from each other. I wish the salon provided access to good quality professional products for the stylist to choose from because some of them just use whatever. I paid 110 for a "silk press" and trim. I didn't mind because it was straight and looked nice however it only lasted 2 days. I know the lack of products knowledge was the main problem, she was using all kinds of stuff. However she did a really good blowout, so good I'm willing to bring my own products next time. I also have got 2 sew-ins here before. Diamond did my first one and I would give her 5 stars she braided,sewin, and styled it no problems I would highly recommend her. Now the 2nd time I was waiting forever. My stylist parted my hair and someone else braid it down and then stylist finished the install. It was ok until my tracks was slipping while I was on vacation and had to bobby pin them. And beware what kind of payment your stylist accepts they all don't accept card and I would recommend you to do the research on ur stylist and ask for pricing because everyone is different. I like to do walk in or book same day however this is not the place everyone is not as talented I don't even think everyone is certified.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I received a sew-in from Nicole and I love it. She always does a wonderful job on my hair. I recommend her if your looking for a stylist. Her work shows for itself. Thanks Nicole I'll be back.Service: Hair extensions

This Salon is horrible! “ Haute Mess “ my appointment was at 1:30pm. Didn’t get in A chair, until 4pm. & just now leaving at 6pm. The Stylists are horrible, unprofessional. Unorganized. No, communication. Attitudes. I do not recommend, my hair was humped up. & horrible. The only Stylist that is good up there, is the brown skin Young pretty Nicole girl. Don’t go to anybody else but her. Or You will end up, and with the same results like I have. 2 X in a row. Awful experience.

Total waste of $155 yea I said it right. Stylist I used actually did not know what she was doing and my hair looks terrible. Hair not laying flat because it was braided wrong. Everything was bad and the $50 sewn I thought I was getting was out the window!!! I will NEVER EVER return this establishment again. Definitely will not recommend this place.Services: Hair extensions

I booked a same day install. They offered me a time slot and I accepted. I arrived about 10 minutes early and waited an hour and a half additional!! They had my phone # and no one bothered to call to advise of the delay. What is your reason for requesting my phone number? The install it's self is a 6/10. I advised the stylist that the braids were bumpy and she agreed and asked if I wanted her to take it down. After being there 3 hours, last thing I want to do is stay an additional 2 hours. You get what you pay for. $50 sew in, this is what you get. The janitor was cleaning all around me, trash bags everywhere. It was a Sunday at 12pm. Curious why this wasn't cleaned the night before or when customers weren't there. Again you get what you pay for.

Nicole was very nice and polite. Marylin is a GOAT when it comes to hair.
