We highly recommend Haverty’s. Phil Griffin was very helpful and easy to work with. Lynn was great figuring out the layout of the furniture in our room. We are very pleased with the furniture and service we received.
Melanie was very helpful yet she did not hover over us. We were able to browse freely. When we were finished she took time to show us what we had missed. We left the store for a couple hours and then came back and purchased the perfect chair that she had shown us. We purchased because we really liked her style. She made us feel like we were the most important customer of the day. She said "you made my day" just because we came back.
We had an amazing experience with Havertys! We recently bought a new house and needed new furniture to fit the space. The living room space was a little awkward and I had no idea how to space everything out. We took measurements of the space and scheduled an appointment with Lynn. She was AWSOME! She sat down with us and tried out a few different ideas and was able to quickly put our space together. It now feels like home. One year later and I still love how our living room turned out!!!!!!
We've been going to Havertys since moving to lakeland fl. We have unique needs, our sweet cats lol. Havertys had the only sectional material/fabric that was purposed for those with dogs or cats. Its pretty much impenetrable from dog or cat nails... and it works! Anyway, we're on our second sectional from them; not due to any pet issues, just got tired of what we had and needed a new fresh look...but same material! Well, we got new sectional last year and couldnt be happier. Several months ago, we had a few issues with the controls that started malfunctioning. Repairs/warranty started, and then things went south a bit with said warranty carrier. Not getting into that here. Long story short, a few weeks ago, we decided to go there again and see if we could get another sectional or pieces to replace what had gone bad. We were met by Dawn, sales, who was great in helping us. But then we started to tell her what had happened. She came up with some really cool solutions, got the manager, Tiffany involved, all information shared, then, the most amazing thing happened. Seeing how long we had been waiting for repairs and service, seeing how we've been loyal customers and didnt come there to lose our minds on them, lol, Tiffany blindsided us and said, 'we're going to replace the pieces in question at absolutely no cost to us.' WOW!!!! This wasnt marketing, this was just plain old brick and mortar customer service at its best. The way it should be. We werent expecting anything at all; we went to look and possibly buy! Luck had it that they still sold our sectional in the same material and color it comes in one lol. Three days later, we had our replacements. Happy as can be. The quality of their furniture is, by our standards and needs, way above all else we saw in years past. They're not 'rooms to go' or kanes or citi, etc. Nothing wrong with any of those, just didnt have what our needs required. Theres also better out there. For us, and our pets, they're the only ones who carried anything that was designed for owners of cats and dogs. For our money, its Haverty's. I should have read the reviews.... I would have given a 1 but the maintenance guy was great! Their customer service is horrible! I called and made payments for me sofa and love-seat. Had appointments for delivery setup only for them to be deleted the day before delivery. They said I only paid for one and not the other. Okay if that was the case, why didn't someone call and let me know payments didn't go through. So delivery was delayed thought we would be getting it the following week....only to be told they gave the love-seat to another customer. So now we had to wait for another one to come in. This would be the following month. Furniture finally arrived. Love-seat was broke and sofa was not put together correctly. Had to have someone come out and fix the issues. This part we'll very smoothly. Now 2 months later the is a charge on my card. Store doesn't show the charge. Corporate does show the charge. They tell me the only think I can do is dispute the charge.... really So now I have to get new cards because they messed up somewhere... I will not be buying anything else from them!!
I really appreciated the attentiveness I got from Phil, he went out of his way to show us all the tables that might meet the criteria we were looking for in addition to the clearance items! I will definitely come back in the future! Loved the selection and the nice store layout.
If you go into this furniture store go find Jason! As someone who has been in sales myself, he's a great listener and will help you find exactly what you need. They have good quality furniture and the store is so clean!
We had a wonderful experience today at Haverty's. We found just what we were looking for and received excellent customer service. We have always enjoyed Shopping at Haverty;s and today was no exception.
Only reason I’m giving a 3 star is for the worker that decided to play “closing time” when we were trying to hurry and get a couch so we didn’t have to rush back to lake land another day. We did come 10 mins before they closed but spent almost $10,000 on furniture and was only in there 40 mins total. Our guy helping us was named Jason Kelly and he was very respectful and patient kept reassuring us we are okay to still be in there. But the lack of respect for others from that guy that not only turned the lights off on us but started playing that song then staring at us, really rubbed us the wrong way. I wish I had got his name but the manager was standing there so I know she heard it as well. We got what we needed but not entirely sure we will go back to this location in the future.
QUINN WAS AMAZING! We had such a good time going in and making a decision on our new table. We are definitely coming back for more
