Great furniture store with great service! Ask for Sally Walker! She is tremendous - very polite, professional and knowledgeable! I have bought many pieces from Havertys over the years and have always been pleased. While pricing is pretty fixed, you just have to know the times of year to buy to get the good sales pricing and promotions.
Updated review: There were some issues with the delivery of our furniture that left us upset and initially providing a one star review, but the store manager worked with us to get the issue resolved in as reasonable a timeframe as can be expected. The furniture itself is exactly what we were looking for, so we are happy with our order.
said he could include another purchase to hit a threshold for a savings promo, then said he could not adjust price to accomadate pillows bc of a code inthe system so i walked away from the entire pruchase. i would have bought it all online if you didn't make me work with the store
Sally Walker at the Winston Salem store is impressive. She knows every single piece of her inventory. If I mentioned something I saw online, she knew exactly what I was talking about. She really listened to what I was looking for which saved so much time and confusion showing me everything. She never pressured me which is refreshing. I learned that it is worth it to go to a real furniture store vs buying online and next time, I will be asking for Sally. She knows her stuff!
John Mingo was very knowledgeable helpful and professional-patient-allowed us to shop without any pressure and was very understanding of our wants and needs! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in purchasing furniture at Havertys!
Tim and I spoke on the phone prior to my husband and I going in. He answered all my questions, was very polite and knowledgeable. When we got to the store he welcomed us and gave us his undivided attention and helped us find the perfect sectional he showed us different options and really took his time with us. Thank you, Tim!
We worked with Tim and Ryan today. They were excellent, gave very good suggestions and were very nice throughout the process making it super smooth. I will give five stars to both of them.
I went to Havertys specifically looking at their clearance section. Found several nice lamps, a nice file cabinet, and a pillow all at a very good price. The Branch Manager, Damion Warren, was very personable, very attentive, and very helpful. He was very nice. He listened to my concerns and resolved my issues. I appreciated his professionalism. I would definitely shop at Havertys again because of the way the Branch Manager, Damion Warren, treated me like a V.I.P. person even though I only looked at clearance items. I appreciate how he made me feel as important as someone who came into the showroom to buy big ticket furniture items.
We had a great experience at Havertys. Tim was very welcoming and friendly. He helped us with what we was looking for. Thank you.
