We ordered the sofa in January of 2020. The sofa is finally scheduled for delivery in November of 2021. It took almost one year for the sofa to be delivered. Even given the issues with supply and staffing this wait is not acceptable. While there was regular communication we were given date after date after date for estimated ETA. None of these were even remotely reliable. While Paul was polite and good to work with and I believe he tried what he could. I will not be purchasing furniture from Havertys in the future. Update unforunelty during delivery damaged was done to our home. The delivery team did not put down a matt to protect the hardwood flooring. Two of the employees attempted to brute force push the sofa through the front door. This resulting in chipping and scratching of the front door and hardwood floor and denting and scratching of the door frame.
Sales lady was very helpful during our visit with Havertys. Upon delivery, The two gentlemen that set up the furniture was very friendly and polite and worked with me until I was satisfied with everything!! Very pleasant experience.. I will go to Havertys first the next time I look for furniture.
Scot was friendly, knowledgeable and certainly didn’t hover like some sales people do. He was very helpful and told me what bedroom sets were in stock as he knew I was not interested in ordering. I will definitely shop Havertys again and I’ll ask for Scot’s assistance.
We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The store associate was knowledgeable and provided some great options to look at. We were very pleased with the show room which was nicely arranged. We are pleased with the ease of purchasing and looking forward to the delivery of our furniture.
Very pleasant and friendly staff with no sales pressure. Brad greeted me after I walked in, pointed me in the direction I needed and let me look around for a while. He checked in with me a few times, always giving me product info and trying to match my needs in a recliner and not trying to force a sale. Long story short, I purchased a recliner, sofa and loveseat during the 10% off sale and couldn't have been happier. I've been a customer since the mid 1990's, and Havertys' still lets you feel "at home" to look around without trying to make a sale here & now. Even when checking out, the lady behind the counter was so nice. Thank you again, Brad!
My customer representative Mr. Jack Hope was awesome. He was very helpful & informative of the product. He's well in tuned with the store & knows how to get to things quickly. Excellent job
We visited your Pineville location and spoke with Frankie. He was such a pleasure to work with! He was both friendly and helpful, but without making us feel overly pressured. We will be recommending Havertys and Frankie to all our family and friends. Thanks so much for a great shopping experience.
Awful experience! I ordered a dining set. I paid almost 4 grands for it! First time they delivered defective table base and 2 chairs, next time they came with replacement but one of the chairs was still defective. 3rd time they delivered again the defective chair. I regret the day I came to Havertys! It’s more than 2 weeks from order date, I’m out of 1 chair. They didn’t schedule the delivery for replacement. And my sales manager is always on vacation. Stay away from this store. I will never come back and can’t recommend this store to anyone!
I had seen the sofa online and easily located it in the store. The salesperson was very helpful but not pushy. I found a custom fabric that I really liked. I'll probably be ordering the sofa in the next few weeks. All together a good experience.
