The Hayward BART station may not be the newest or flashiest of all the stops along your way, but its clean and well lit, and the surrounding area is relatively safe and easy to navigate. There is ample parking and the station agents are kind and well versed in all things BART in case you need help or further direction.
I just want to know if you're the person working in the Bart workers booth, aren't you the person that is supposed to help me. Well the young lady working in the booth today, at 1:25pm , very very rude. I pay your salary by riding these trains, a little bit of common courtesy goes a long way. If you don't want to help people, why are you working here. The Bart attendant the other day, gladly showed me how to add money to the clipper card. If you don't want to assist people, I suggest you get another job. Very Unprofessional, I really hope that this gets read and some changes can be made.
Hayward Bart station is your typical Bart station m it is a outside station so you would need an umbrella if going in the rain it does have a cover and an inside area. Conveniently there is a bus station here as well. A greyhound and the local city bus.
So gross. Dangerous and not safe. thieves will rob you of your peace of mind and trust and vandalize your vehicle. Avoid this place and do not park here.
This is one of BART’s older stations but the convenience of the service is unbeatable for the Bay. Plenty of parking way too much actually and right next to downtown. For folks with mobility needs, keep in mind that the accessible entrance is not located close to the parking. A big shoutout to staff who are super courteous and keep the station running smoothly. Custodial staff also do a great job keeping it clean.
Cmon man I been catching bart! Since Ricky Henderson was taken bases with the a's! Other sprawling metropolitan city's should take this as consideration for mass transit...
Easy access transportation. Restroom accessible and clean.
You can catch either Bart to and from Hayward to San Francisco, to Oakland, to San Leandro, to Bay Fair, back Hayward Bart, back home to South Hayward Bart station. Now from here you can catch the Bart to Union City , Dublin Bart, and Fremont. It depends on where you're going to , to establish when and where you have to get on the platform to make a transfer to Another Bart train. Now as for the bus's there are various bus's that do the same as I stated about Bart, you can catch many different bus's as far as you need to get to where you're going. Hope this helps?
Overall this station is kept pretty clean. I see a cleaning crew person there every day. It is easy to get to with a large parking garage and reserved parking lot. There are bathrooms available that are less scary than your average bart station. The parking cost at this station is currently maxed out at $3.00 a day.
BART is a very convenient mode of transportation for me. This particular station has free parking. It is also located near downtown Hayward so you can do some quick shopping after returning from work.
