Hazels Drive-In

I didn't believe they were open, because every time I drove by no cars in front .Didn't know they had back parking Their burgers are humongous and the beef patty was thick. 5 Guys, Nations,, Lumpy's, and etc. Hazel's Drive In is my Favorite Burger place from now on! I have a big appetite and I was full off of only 1/4 of this burger. I'm the guy that can go to Lone Tree Buffett and pound down 5 to 6 plates. Mostly meats. It took two trays to bring my leftovers back home. Totally impressed. When I got them home I added cheese and mustard. Other than that, that cheese burger was perfect. Biggest cheese burger I've ever had! I'm sure you will enjoy it if you are about quantity and quality. I'm from Texas and we like everything Big.

Hazel's used to be my go to Hamburger spot. It was the best ever since I could remember back in Elementary School! When you went to Hazel's you knew exactly what you were going to get EXCELLENT BURGER'S. Everything they served up was so good, but the Burger's were out of this world. The deco inside was retro. All the fun memorabilia inside and the paintings on the outside GONE! It was home to everyone here in Antioch. I remember when the new owner had just bought it He Promised me that they weren't going to change not one thing about the food. NOT TRUE! I DONT REMEMBER HAZEL BURGER'S LOOKING LIKE THIS! The meat was falling apart! The whole thing was SLOP! Look at the tomatoe they served me! You cant tell the onions from the lettuce. I believe The Hazel burger use to come with cheese on each hamburger patty , I only got cheese on one patty. She told me that would be extra to have cheese on each patty. They put both patty's on top of each other instead of being separated by the extra bun in the middle. It all was just a mess. And wait for it........DANNY IS GONE! Danny has been working there ever since I started going to HAZEL'S! It just wasn't the Hazel's that I and Everyone here in Antioch and all around the area have been use to! It doesn't have that home feel to it anymore. What a shame. For over 30 year's you could always count on Hazel's being one of the Best Burgers ! The new owner promised not to change one thing about Hazel's , then he went and changed EVERYTHING! What a Shame!

This is a historic dive for Antioch, the food was good but the waitress was rude and did not not know what she was doing. Further more she was speaking Spanish and slightly insulted me because she did not know I know how to speak Spanish. Other than that the burger is excellent .Food: 4/5

Ive come here, once a year for the last 17 years.2006 When I heard of Antioch’s Famous Willy Burger. Came today Aug.25,2023. Wonderful! Burgers still taste great since I fist tried in 2006. Continues mostly the same. Establishments will Change over time. Will continue to come here. I hope this place never closes in my life time. My girls loved it. Parking: Old school. Love it keep the same. Miss them old school Times.

Great burger! I got the Willy because it was recommended. It was much larger than I thought. I barely ate half and I can smash some food! Cajun fries and a green river soda for the win.Food: 5/5

This place is great and has gotten better than I remember. Mostly since old owner is gone. The old owner took the orginal decor with her which is the only down side to its missing the old school lunch box's records ect. The Cooks and waitresses and food remain Great tho!Food: 5/5

Omg Willy is dead!! I am so embarrassed, after running my mouth for so long to friends from out of town about this "to die for" burger that was so juicy and delicious. I presented them a dried out mostly bun tasteless burger. What the hell happened? I am so sad.... miss you WillyFood: 1/5

Finished a hike and went to Hazel's for a Willie Burger XL cheeseburger and the Fran Fries Jalapeno Cheesesteak fries - biggest burger and BEST Cheese fries by far seriously, each fry was covered in cheese sauce. Great malted shakes and amazing prices all this for less than $20. Good ole fashioned burger stop with other sandwiches and fried goodies. Definitely recommend if you're in or nearby Antioch.

3.5 Stars hearty bacon Billy Burger. This review is on the Billy Burger. Usually the regular or bacon cheeseburger is a good standard to measure how the rest of the food will be on the menu. Billy Burger: Hearty slices of bacon were the best taste about the burger. The patty, cheese, and bun were the usual taste. Fries/Onion Rings: half and half order had little to no salt or seasoning on them. Very bland. Overall, I wouldn't go so high to say its above average 3-star. The bacon was not bad though.

The place is small but is packed full of flavor! Don't waste your money with other burger joints, get a great meal and deal here! The Willy burger is great and serves two!Food: 5/5
