I'm going to start off by saying the hairstylist David was a good hairstylist in the beginning providing good service to his clients. I am a college student who has been going to David every 2-3 months for weave installations and takedowns ever since June of 2017. Every service was of good quality until there were hair appointments that left me unsatisfied to the point where I had to call David to get my hair style resolved. It wasn't until December of 2017 when I had a terrible weave installation. I specifically asked for a full sew in weave with no leave out and David pointed out that he had never tried a weave installation without a leave out, but he tried to make it work for me. Even though I should have noted it was a red flag to not let a stylist attempt something for them first time with my hair, I was confident that David could do it. The end result of my hair wasn't up to excellent quality-not even basic quality. I had a single track braid showing in the front of my hairline with the closure unit half an inch sewn in behind it. Basically, I had a hair style that broke the rule of good weave installments which is that no one should have a track showing with a weave simply because it looks tacky and ghetto. I tried to make my hair work in the front but couldn't get past the fact that my braid was obvious so I had to schedule another appointment to take down my hair and just get a simple weave installation with a leave out which he is always best at doing. I didn't hold the first unsatisfactory hair service against him since he was trying to make me happy with what I wanted. The next and last hair service I had with him was the worst of all that left me with a damaged scalp with a burning and stinging sensation that left me with scabs all over the crown of my head and eventually hair thinning and slight baldness. One of the things that is not professional of David is that when it comes to weave installations, he doesn't do the full service. He would call his niece to come to hair salon to braid my hair in a circle while he would do the other half of sewing in my hair extensions. His niece would so often braid too tight that I constantly had to tell her it's too tight and take it down to redo the tight braid. My last hair service left me with such a sore head that once David was sewing in the hair, the pain of my head exacerbated to the point where it was throbbing. I told David about it while sitting in the chair and then he asked if I had aspirin. First of all, who would need aspirin on hand for a weave installation. I should be comfortable while sitting in your chair while you give me a good hair service which I'm payog you for. His niece had already left the shop while he was installing my hair so I'd just listened to the fact that I would come home to take aspirin. The next day my head pain was worse than before since I had to call him AGAIN to fix my issue. Since it was Easter weekend, he couldn't fit me in his schedule to come back and I couldn't come back on a day he was available since I'm a college student going to an expensive school who had to fly back to college for the next semester. I literally had to call mutltiple hair stylists to take down a bad $175 weave installation which I ended up paying an extra $100 for a weave takedown and hair press from another hairstylist because I couldn't go back to college without a proper hairstyle. My parents had to help me file a lawsuit against David since I had scalp injuries and lost of money for a bad hair service. David was unwilling at first to pay me back ANY of my $175 saying that he spent so much time on my hair. Mind you that I'm in college and I had to deal with a sore and painful head while studying and going to class for a week and a half while almost broke due to a loss of my hard earned money. My parents were able to get $135 from David when they asked to see his cosmetology license simply because he was afraid of losing his license and job to do hair. I couldn't get back the $40 left which was paid to his niece POORLY braiding my hair too ttight.

Tanya is a hair care specialist. Love her pleasant personality and she can really do some hair! Atmosphere is pleasant and she's true professional and prices are definitely reasonable. Definitely recommend

Great hair care and efficiency! My hair gets tender loving care and I don't spend all day in the salon. You can't beat that with a stick!
