Your spine, from the top of your neck to the bottom of your hips, can twist out of optimal alignment. This in turn can cause an irritation to the nerves exiting the spinal column, the joints, resulting in inflammation, or the muscle connections in the joint, causing tightness and spasms. We are here to help you achieve a healthier, happier life!
On your first visit, you can expect the following:
In the beginning, we perform an assessment of the alignment of your head, neck, shoulders, back, and hips. We will also do some gentle stress tests to identify specific areas that relate to the reason you came in for consultation. We will explain what the findings of these assessments mean and what you can do about it.

Dr. Haitsma became interested in Chiropractic as a result of the wonderful outcome he received for the treatment of headaches he used to suffer from.
He was involved in an auto accident and the subsequent treatment rendered by dedicated and determined medical doctors achieved minimal results. Fortunately, a chiropractor invited him to try chiropractic. These treatments helped so much that he was inspired to become a chiropractor himself. He transferred from the University of Calgary to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
He graduated in December 1975 and began practice in Alberta in May 1976. He has recently returned from serving two church missions with his wife, Veronica, and is happy to be in Lethbridge and begin practice again. He extends the same invitation to you as his chiropractor did to him.
