I have received hands down the absolute best medical care with One Medical. While it is a concierge doctor's office meaning there's a membership fee annually it is truly very reasonable ~$200, but there may be coupons available for your first year if you know another member! and they accept my insurance so it's otherwise the same cost or cheaper than getting medical coverage elsewhere. I love that they have a very easy to use and intuitive app where I can schedule all my appointments, send messages to my medical care team, and get immediate video care for urgent matters. Beyond that, they have everything integrated - with COVID testing, a lab for blood work, vaccines, flu shots, etc. right in the office, and they have women's health experts as well. My full wellbeing is taken into account and they look at issues holistically - with physical and mental health both equally considered and addressed. For members, they also have same day appointments available, which are amazing if you're feeling under the weather - and you can do these in person or virtually, depending on what makes sense with your schedule. The staff are the absolute best. I've been able to forge strong relationships with my primary care doctor and the receptionist at the front is stellar - she is great at remembering me and following up with chit chat from my last visits. When my grandparents describe the close, small town relationships they used to have with their doctors, nurses and other professionals at the doctors office, that's what I always wished I could have, but thought was a relic of times past. However, now that I'm a member of One Medical, I realize that this is what health care should be. Fully integrated, top notch health care professionals, and people who care - about you as a whole person, your full health. I would strongly recommend One Medical. They are truly the absolute best decision you can make for your personal health.
I cannot say enough good things about One Medical. Moving from DC, to NJ, to Chicago over the past year would not have been possible without their ability to coordinate care. At this location, Drew Guzman is absolutely amazing. He is thorough, knowledgeable, patient and fun. He goes above and beyond to coordinate with my out of state providers and ensure any and all ongoing needs are met! The group ensures that they have all ongoing relevant information including vaccine details and draw labs right on site.
All around great experience from one medical. I received a medical consultation, flu shot, blood test, and other tests/check ups in around 30 minutes. I made my appointment the day of and I was seen right as I arrived! Everyone from my doctor to the staff was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend
One Medical is transforming the health care provider industry. Over 3 of my different appointments, the average wait time was 2-3 minutes. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The mobile app is straight forward, user friendly, and provides all the information you need. When I've needed additional information, they've gotten back to me that same day. One Medical takes the regular pains that come with seeing your doctors out of the equation.
This is a membership based medical facility- it looks like the negative reviewer did not realize this. If you’re just looking for covid tests, etc, this is not the right place. However, as a member and patient I have had an excellent experience here. The staff is very kind and takes the extra time to talk with their patients and understand their circumstances and health needs. They communicate regularly with patients over the app, and when I have needed labs and blood draws the process has been very smooth.
Really nice facility with HEPA filters running and a kind and helpful staff. Probably the easiest blood draw I've ever had.
Just a heads-up if you are looking for a COVID test, One Medical is a concierge primary care group. If you're not a member, you can get a free trial to be tested, but they aren't a walk-in urgent care like you might be expecting. That being said, members have access to testing practically on-demand, with about 72 hour turnaround times in my experience. If you find this level of access to care appealing, I would definitely recommend joining the practice.
Trying to talk to a human being is impossible. I have left two messages and got in the Queue twice and have yet to receive a call back. They just keep referring to their website which of course doesn't answer the questions I need. How do they expect to get patients if they aren't even willing to have a human talk to join about joining??????? Typical Advocate product that doesn't care about patients!

More than worth the annual membership fee— best experience I’ve had with any primary care physician.
