My parents are patients of one of the doctor at optum but the front desk is horrible there is no communication they've called in a prescription and 3 day later no answer she walked in to the office to see if she can get it in person and they made her wait an hour so she went up to the front desk to let them know she still waiting and they told her she needed to be patient she waited some more and they left her there waiting while they all went to lunch. THIS IS NOT OK she is elderly ..
Called for my parents appointment and they cancelled their appointment with out calling them prior to the appointment date. And the MA kept hanging up and putting me on pause. Very unprofessional this place is not worth coming at all.
No appointments for over a month for sudden illnesses. Feels like they staff poorly to make you pay extra for their urgent care centers.
It used to be somewhat better but it's gotten worse. Doctors/nurses don't seem to care about patients. A couple of times I've gone to what I think are routine check-ups, only to be billed more out-of-pocket because I bring up other concerns. Also, if you want to get an appt with a specialist, be prepared to wait a couple of months or longer. And even then, they might not find anything wrong so you are forced to get a 2nd opinion.
If you don’t need an appointment right away this is a decent place. Three months off for appointments and to get blood work done dont bother. Long wait times cause they forget about you. True story. Switching doctors the first. Sad I really like Garrido too.
My husband is a doctor and picky so when we changed our insurance model, it took time to find a doctor that we could trust. He actually ended up finding Dr. Pike and then encouraged me to see her and both changed our primary care to her. On top of that, Dr. Pike is so good that recently recommended an older friend who has had similar issues finding a primary care that she trusts to check out Dr. Pike which she did and texted us thrilled and relieved that she also had a good experience. Dr. Pike is energetic, intelligent, attentive and seems caring and good “bedside manner.” She seems to like what she does and not burned out yet. Doctor patient dynamic is complicated and not easy and I know this being married to a doctor ...so I don’t write this review lightly. Dr. Pike is 3 for 3 with us; I’m thrilled to have her as is my husband and close friend. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I came here for my standard physical. The parking is in a structure on the inside of the block. No charge. If you have to get to the front building you can walk thru the automatic doors on the south side of the first 14000 Sherman building to the south side of the next 14600? building. They have a directory in the lobby if you forget your doctor's suite number. The interior space is clean. My doctor's suite has a nice view on the 3rd floor.
They really don't care about you! If you don't force them to do their job they won't. Tell your insurance to switch you before you end up hurt like me. RUN!
Love my Doctor but to schedule any appointment soon with him it's impossible if I need to see him for my migraines I litteraly have to wait 2 weeks til I get an appointment and that's still if I'm in pain.
Don’t even bother calling, you’ll get transferred to everyone else except the person to speak to
