My husband and I have been going here for over 20 years and we can't say enough great things! I see Dr. Balderston, whom I absolutely love!! Tom sees Dr. Fantaski!! Obviously, if we are sick and can not be seen by our regulars, we are seen by either another doctor or Megan, who is a CRNP, and she is also terrific!! They never rush you and each and EVERY ONE OF THEM, including the nurses, the staff that either answers the phone or checking you out at the end of the visit, helping schedule any tests that may be needed are absolutely wonderful!! I can not say enough wonderful things about everyone at Healthquest! Thank you all for making your patients feel important!! Lori H
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Calhoun for my entire adult life, 20 years now. Compassionate and caring, to the point where he has a vested interest in seeing his patients do well. Always patient and ready to answer questions and work with you, with just the right amount of kick you in the butt to stay healthy. I’ve worked in healthcare and been around dozens of physicians. While there are many great ones out there, Dr Calhoun stands above the rest as a pcp.
We have been seeing Dr. Calhoun for years. When I referred a friend, he was no longer taking new patients, so my friend saw Dr. Mark Fantaski instead. She has been more than pleased. Dr. Calhoun personally has called us with test results. He has never rushed my husband nor I whenever we've had long lists of questions. We have found him to be compassionate and personable. We are both pleased.
I have been a patient since 1999. I have been treated by all the doctors at one time or another. I liked them so much that I brought my mother and daughters to them. I find them to be sensitive, caring and thorough. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful.
Thoroughly disgusted and happy to be leaving this practice. Stopped THREE weeks ago to have my records transferred to new PCP; completed and signed ALL required documentation provided by Healthquest ... or so I thought! As of last Friday October 1st my new doctor's office had not yet received ANY information, so I telephoned Healthquest to inquire on the status. Their response ... "Oh you have to go through ANOTHER company Chart Request to access copies of your records; either via an 800 number of their website." It has been NOTHING but a a jump through hoops NIGHTMARE. WHY WAS I NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS THREE WEEKS AGO WHEN I STOPPED AT THE GIBSONIA OFFICE TO COMPLETE THE PAPERWORK??? Sorry to have to leave a negative review; however, it is apparent that the staff is unable or unwilling to complete a simple request in a timely manner.
As a physician myself, I found Dr. Calhoun and his associates to be very attentive and accommodating. The office staff run the office efficiently which a busy practice needs to keep the day moving.
The old lady who works there’s is extremely rude and unpleasant. She will make you feel like a POS for even calling. Their parking lot is littered with used face masks that they distribute. Terrible, rude, and disgusting.
The poorest customer service I've experienced in a long time. They make you feel like an inconvenience. I got tired of feeling like I did something wrong every time I tried to make an appointment, so I just started going to the MedExpress down the street. No hassle and they are actually pleasant.
I have been a patient for many years & quite happy with this qroup of doctors & staff. Services rated A+
Several bad experiences with three different doctors at Healthquest. They are very good at regular yearly physicals, average cold, flu, etc. But serious diagnosis seem to be outside of their abilities. I passed off humiliation by one Dr.. Chose another team member. Twice more found serious things laughed off by this group. Not getting into personal details, but I highly recommend if you have any issues out of the norm, Find someone who will take your ills seriously. They obviously do not diagnose very well. And if you have an accident which puts you in the hospital. You may find yourself owing them $1000 for them stepping into your room and saying "hi what happened to you?" Even though they were not part of any treatment whatsoever.
