33 years ago I experienced a profound spiritual awakening that dramatically altered my life. This was the start of the work I do today. Based on over a quarter of century of work (education, working with those in conflict (especially couples), and trial and error in my personal life), I have invented a new model for relationships. I grew up with parents who loved us, but often related with my siblings and I in extremely painful ways. I know the pain in one’s adult life that that produces. I have had an intimate relationship with emotional, mental, and physical distress. If you’re in pain, I want you to know that I have been there. 45 years of working to figure my life out and to heal the distress. I am quite good at navigating the complexities of that distress.
