Our purpose is to work together as a community to build a healthier Gloucester.
We are a network of public and private community members whose goal is to create a healthier environment for Gloucester’s youth. The Healthy Gloucester Collaborative (HGC) brings youth, educators, agencies, businesses, parents, faith leaders, law enforcement, health professionals, and community members together to promote change. HGC works to create community connections to reduce substance abuse in Gloucester and promote community wellness.
Our mission is to promote a healthy community committed to the well-being of youth, families and all residents in Gloucester through efforts to prevent and reduce alcohol, other drug use and the related causes and consequences.
The coalition joins all generations to promote a safe and healthy environment for young people to thrive with the support of family and the community as a whole.
