Dr. Dameron received a degree as a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from Nova Southeastern University, and thereafter completed his residency at the University of Miami. His residency was in Med-Peds, a dual enrolled residency program that, upon completion, bestowed both complete Internal Medicine and Pediatric training and specialization. While in training Dr. Dameron practiced as Senior Resident two years in a row, supervising Pediatricians, Internal medicine interns and students. As part of his training, he was responsible for care at University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami Veterans Administration and Mount Sinai. He has completed extensive training in intensive care. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and maintains his certification.
He relocated to the Treasure Coast area to pursue private practice where he could work more closely with patients and become their primary healthcare provider. His practice, Healthy Results, which opened in Port St. Lucie in 2015 has grown to approximately 4000 patients in less than 3 years. The increasing demands placed upon him by insurance companies made it impossible to maintain quality preventative care in a personalized environment. He has decided to change his practice model to one which focuses more on specialized individual care. He values getting to really know his patients personally and having the opportunity to thoroughly listen to their medical needs. This new model would allow him to know his patients and provide the kind of care he committed to when he started his medical training.
Dr. Dameron is a physician who listens to his patients, and earns their trust, caring for his patients as if they were members of his own family. He enjoys teaching and helping others on how to stay healthy and to focus on preventative care.
“I am honored when a patient entrusts me with their health, and humbled by those patients who compliment me by sending their friends and family.” Dana Dameron, DO ABIM
