Update: Because of my posting, Healthy Steps notified us we were no longer welcome as patients. They said the posting was clear we didn't trust their care. Thing is, I had no problem with the care, just the billing. Not only did they notify me, but they also expelled my husband who wasn't involved. It's apparent if you call them out on fraudulent charges they don't want to deal with you. Would give zero stars if it was an option. They also put the bill into collections with less than 90 days since the service when I’ve been in contact with them weekly and am the proactive one trying to get this settled. This is a fraudulent practice and when you even slightly question them they turn spiteful. Run, don’t walk to another practice.  I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB and United HealthCare.

I've been a patient here since moving to Maryland 2.5 years ago and this place is the best experience I've ever had with a primary physician's office. I’ve had the chance to meet with Dr. Baksh, Dr. Noelle Meiser, and Dr. Sragg and they are all amazing doctors that really care about their patients. The nurses do a really good job at taking notes and detailing any concerns you may have. The office staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Alice went above and beyond in helping me get a specialist referral and timely appointment which led me to write this review. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a doctor's office.

I see Carolina Johnson, one of the Physician assistants. She is the best. Very personable, awesome bedside manner, explains everything very well. She’s always in an upbeat happy mood and I walk away from each appointment feeling confident that she’s addressed all of my questions and concerns. She’s able to pinpoint even things I hadn’t thought were concerns.  I never wait more that 5-10 minutes in the waiting room, which is clean and very welcoming. Check-in is easy and quick.  There is a lab for bloodwork, etc. which is also very fast. I have seen the same lab tech a few different times and she is also awesome. Can’t say enough good things about Healthy Steps.

I wasted 3 years with this office being given the runaround, having things not completely, or in a clear straightforward manner explained to me. At my last appointment, it was clear to me that Dr. Baksh had not even fully reviewed my information or health history before the appointment. At that appointment, she was erratic, did not listen to any of my concerns and told me to get a new doctor.  After the appointment, she made notes in my chart, but I was unable to even get into the patient portal because I am assuming she revoked access to my chart I am on the phone right now with the portal's technical support who informed me of this action. My access was also interestingly revoked the same day I left a negative google review about the care I received that day.  There are many more attentive and informative practitioners in the area. I stayed because of the drawn out and complicated nature of my care. In hindsight I would have left earlier to save myself the time and headache.  UPDATE: I was able to get access to my chart after calling Privia Health to reactivate the access to my chart but my sentiments are still the same. Dr. Baksh comes off to me as uninterested, and now vindictive.

I LOVE this practice. Each doctor, P.A., nurse, tech, and supporting staff, are incredible. They REALLY strive to make you feel a part of their family. LGBTQ friendly, my wife and I NEVER feel judged. As a patient, you feel as important as everyone else. They work hard to ensure you’re questions are answered, your treatment plan is explained, and they stay until you “get it”. They strive to stay ahead of potential issues, age related concerns, and maintaining a healthy life. I’ve recommended this practice to numerous friends, and will continue to do so.

Dr. Carolina Johnson is wonderful. She is very kind, friendly and is always smiling. With extreme patience, she is attentive to every single detail, making sure to find a solution with options to all of my concerns. She is extremely knowledgable and never fails to provide me with excellent care. Dr. Carolina Johnson is everything one could only wish for in a doctor!  100 out of 10!

I was a little surprised when I first started going to Healthy Steps that my care would be primarily handled by a physician's assistant rather than a doctor.  However, I have to say that I've been very pleased with the care I've received.  The PA spends plenty of time with me, which is something you don't experience at every medical establishment. She also seems to be quite knowledgeable, which is obviously important. Receiving a short write-up of things discussed and things I'm encouraged to do is also helpful.

I am a long time patient of Dr Baksh, more than 10 years. The addition of Privia group has made Healthy Steps and a large network of other great providers more readily accessible. The ease of securing a short notice appointment was exceptional and I appreciate Healthy Steps’ consistent quest for innovation and great customer service. Dr Baksh is fantastic. It took me a while to sort out the new site, phone options, portal and app. A lot of information in different places. The online appointment scheduling redirected me to call and the phone line would redirect me back to the site. I was able to get through to a nurse, and once connected I was able to receive assistance right away with a medical question. Anitra

Best doctor and her team, they don't just treat patients with physical ailments, but they treat the whole patient. They treat with compassion, empathy and excellent good listeners. They are pleasant, kind and friendly. Every staff is professional, including all the receptionists and medical assistants. Special stars to Dr. Johnson, always with a smile and pleasant personality.

I was recommended to Dr Baksh by a friend and saw her for the first time on April 3, 2018. Was back to discuss lab work that were taken on my first visit  2 weeks later and I am very satisfied with my care. I had the same primary care Dr for over 20 years and has never received this level of care and close attention to my medical needs. I felt like this is what a yearly physical should look like and not just having my vitals taken along with some blood work.  I am also happy that I have a doctor that allows open communication.
