The Heart-Burn Foundation, Inc. is a Georgia-Based Non-Profit 501(C)(3) Organization founded to assist uninsured persons who have been victimized due to a devastating fire in their home or apartment.
On June 10, 1972, my life was totally changed at the age of 23 when I was critically burned beyond recognition. I feared that I would never be the same again and experience life as I knew it. I founded the Heart-Burn Foundation to provide support to families whose lives had also been altered by a devastating fire event.
Our services include, providing temporary support, such as: food, clothing, temporary shelter, counseling, and fire prevention education. The Heart-Burn Foundation, Inc. is a referral service for the American Red Cross South Metro division. The collaboration with the American Red Cross provides extended resources to victims of disasters due to them being an emergency response organization, the Heart-Burn Foundation, inc. operates as an emergency recovery organization.

To restore a quality of life that has been destroyed through fire, by providing assistance for basic needs, such as food, clothing and temporary shelter. We cannot let the heart burn, for with the heart, man believeth.
Limited disaster response resources are provided upon request, such as: shelter, clothing, food, toys, and medical services.
