I see Dr Peter, and the system here is broken. I wanted to get an ablation and was sent to another specialist dr. Borkowski. The new specialist said he wanted to try a med change and told me to follow up with Dr Peter only, so when my HR was low I left a message and after 2 days of waiting I got a reply. I was told to call the other specialist dr Borkowski back because it was not his problem. So I am seeing two cardiologists now for 3 medications?!?!? Seriously?! Oh, and I was also told if the other cardiologist wanted him to do a med change to call him. What the heck kind of care is that? I am looking for a new cardiologist at MGH because I need a doctor that is going to CARE about my overall health and well being. I had issues with the front desk but overall I thought it was more convenient to have a doctor close by my house. however, what is the point if he doesn't care for my health? If I cannot reach him quickly? Tonight I have decided, it is just not worth it anymore.
Dr. Peter Chiotellis is absolutely fantastic. One of the best, most down to earth, helpful, and kind doctors I've met. However, I have to agree with the other negative reviews. The front office, the automated phone system, antiquated "portal", and scheduling are possibly the worst I've ever dealt with. Every appointment I've had has been rescheduled by their office. On one occasion I pulled in to their parking lot, after driving 35 minutes, and arriving 5 minutes prior to my appointment I received a call from their staff letting me know the person who was supposed to perform my stress test was not coming in that day. I was literally in their parking lot. Had a stress echo test later which was stopped because my BP went too high. After which I never received any follow up calls, or any results. I had to call and leave several messages for them to call me back with the results. It was only after I asked to speak with Dr. Chiotellis, that I received a call to discuss my results. Dr. Peter should clean house, and he'd see tremendous growth in his practice. I wish him the best, but his staff has lost this patient.
Shameful. The way I was berated by the woman who took my call so I could tell them I was stuck with Rt 28 traffic, tree cutting and road repairs and I was running a little late. I was treated so poorly and told how tight they keep a schedule I figured I would lighten their load. I turned around and never went to the appointment. This woman should be fired.
Only doctor office that refuses to treat a patient with HBP because I refuse to take a vaccine shot. Doctors have their rights to treat under their own parameters and it shall be respected but I shall voice my opinion in accordance. Good Day!
Office staff NEEDS to be competent. The Dr is knowledgeable and caring, but the incompetent front office is frustratingly inferior and the reason I left.
I wish I could give this medical facility 10 stars. I was there recently and cannot say enough about how they take care of their patients. NO waiting time!! Appointments within a week or even less. They are very clear about payment and how much it will cost which is very appreciated. The support staff is wonderful. And the technicians I hope that's the correct term introduce themselves and explain the procedure to be done clearly and they are patient with questions and special needs during the procedure. The facility is neat and clean. Would love to see them eliminate the TVs but I guess that's the norm for most places now. Also, maybe minor but the parking is close to the door so no loooong walks across a busy parking lot. This includes spaces for non-handicapped too. If you can choose where to go for the services they offer, go here.
I wish I could give zero stars but it won’t let me. The scheduling lady is the rudest lady I have ever talked to. She has scheduled me a few times now to change the appointment on me by leaving voice mails about a hour before she wants me to come in, then says she talks to me and I agree when In fact I still have the voice mail and one time sent me a letter saying they can no longer see me as I missed an appointment, that she moved on me, and I didn’t even know. This weekend I got 15 calls between two days telling me about my appointment I confirmed it many times yet kept getting calls. Then the lady calls me today at the 11th hour to have me come in earlier. Which I could not she left a voicemail asking me to call back if I could change said appointment. I did not call back as the time did not work for me. She then calls me at the new appointment time asking where I was cause she said she in fact talked to me and I said I could go. I said I never talked to her I still have your VM asking me if I could and if I could to call her back. She kept insisting she talked to me. She then told me she would have to move my appointment to a much later date. I mean to keep doing this with someone with heart issues is wrong. So I called back talked to a “supervisor “ who also insisted that this lady talked to me I told her no she didn’t and I could show her my phone records to prove I never called back. Well we got no where. Also the scheduling lady has a problem with what name shows up on caller ID so my fiancé and I have our phone together as I’m sure most couples do. She always says she can’t help me cause the name on caller ID Dose not match. I always have to explain that we share a account, not that it’s her business nor should I have to explain this to her every time. I am going to see if there is another heart center available when I go see my PCP next time.
Store itself us always well organized. Store staff friendly. The Pharmacy is beyond excellence! They go above and beyond dealing with insurance issues. They are most helpful in educating you on your new medications and help when any issues arise . I hace been a costomer for over 14 years and have not heard of or had any disappointments in quality and assistance .
Dr. Peter is a gem. However everything else about this practice is horrendous. The staff especially the office is the reason l have left the practice.
Dr. Peter is the best! I would give this office a five star rating except for the automated phone system, really bad!
