Heartland Capital Got me information regarding about my account, Quickly and very prompt. Everyone when you are renting to own and not using your credit, of course there are rental fees..... common sense. Thank you guys for doing 5 star business with my family and our trailer needs. Will be a partner for life!!!
We received a letter recently in regards to an audit being done on the company. I called to get clarification, Heartland stating we owed almost $8k on our shed. During the course of the call, I was informed that 40% of our payment goes towards principal and 60% goes towards rent. I asked if rent was interest, got the run around. I informed that on a mortgage loan, a person does not pay rent and principle. Our shed should be paid off. I will be contacting the BBB and Kentucky States Attorney General office this coming week. I understand paying interest, but not 60%! To pay the remaining balance is less than $3k. But it was put on an audit as almost $8k. I believe this is some type of fraud on their behalf.
I purchased my shed a little more than a year ago. It's a 10 x 16 metal shed with two windows and a door. I just recently had a financial hardship. This company was more than willing to work with me. That small jesture is greatly appreciated by me.
So my autistic son cleaned out his bank account to put a down payment on a building. We were going to convert it into a tiny house for him. This was his first big purchase and he was using his disability check to pay for it. After we put the building on our property we went to get a permit for placement of the building and were told it had to be moved further back on our property plus the expense of the permits which was way more than we could afford. We called the finance company which is this company and asked what would happen if we wanted to send the building back. The company employee stated we would simply pay a 300 fee and they would pick itup. I told her we would see if we could sell it and just pay it off first. We listed it on facebook the next day . We said we would wait a week and if nobody came we would have the finance company come get it. The next morning the building was gone the finance company sent a truck to our home while we slept and took it without a phone call or notice of any kind. Essentially this company just took my handicapped sons money. They could have called and let us know that we couldn't sell the building even if we were planning to pay it off. Terrible unprofessional company
If i could give a -0000 i would. They do not notify their customers of account problems but they are rude when calling to deal with a problem. I talked to a rude girl named Caitlyn..which acted right when put in place..but professonlism is questioned along with commen decienticy and respect. Ou r overdue account was system error..not us..do not do buisness with these shady ppl. They are a shady..they are dirty and set u up to indebt to them..run! Dont listen to fake reports. Set up...RUN!!! Not BBB ceritfied. coma
This company is nothing but glorified loan sharking. Find other means if you are in the market for a shed.
Don’t buy from these people they charge you a purchase fee a rental fee and interest so you will pay 3 times the amount that you have agreed to. I’ve been paying 2 years on a building and it’s only $200 less than what I started. I’m their sales people are scam artists! Don’t buy from them!!! They also make you pay a $32 fee every month if you carry your own insurance instead of paying their outrageous insurance!!
