My Grandma received wonderful care at Promedica.  Her stay enabled her to go home safely after a brief illness.  The staff was absolutely wonderful.   They are kind, caring and take the time to do the small but essential things that brighten someone's day.  I can't thank them enough!

I have been employed at Heartland Hampton for about a year, shortly after I hired in my mother started volunteering in the activities department. Naturally, when my father took ill it was the only place we considered. Our staff provides excellent care to all of our patients/residents so I had no doubt he would receive great care.  I had some reservations that it would be awkward having people I see day after day caring for him and I was worried their job would be harder having family that is always around. If it has made their job harder you could never tell and they do everything they can to make us feel comfortable. There has never been an awkward moment.  My dad is always telling us about the good things staff does for him and the things he hears or sees happening in the hallways. He assumed he would be well cared for because he has family that works here but he says everything he has witnessed shows everyone here is treated like they are family. We cannot say enough good things about the care he receives from every department in the building and highly recommend Heartland Hampton to everyone.

I am the Administrator here at Heartland Health Care Center- Hampton, and I am so excited to work with this phenomenal staff!   Everyone is friendly, and we offer quality care to our residents.  It is truly a family environment.  Please contact us with any questions, we would love for your family member to be a part of our family as well.

My experience with Heartland Hampton was awesome. Physical and Occupational therapy was personal and workouts were based on the needs of each individual patient. The therapists were caring and treated me with kindness and patience. When I was down, they brought my spirits up.                      The activities department also did more then their "job".  There were many recreational  activities  from bingo, cards, outside supervised trips, arts and crafts and many other activities that anyone suggested. They were also outgoing and respectful. They listened to what we had to say. I want to say that the nursing staff on every shift took care of our every day needs and wants. They were a group of people who liked what  they did and did it with a smile. They were friendly and respectful and I for one appreciated what they did for me. Ok, I am not forgetting the others. The office personnel, the housekeeping crew, the kitchen people are as friendly and helpful to any of our needs. Whether it be a food request or keeping your room the way you wanted, or any of the people in the  office answering questions with courtesy and respect. The Heartland Hampton people became a family. The residents also have place in my heart. I am thankful to everyone at Heartland in Bay City for making a difference in people's lives.

If I could give a zero star I would! Called for information and was treated so bizarre. Than when called back because I didn’t get a response when I left a message they were so rude. When caring for the elderly or someone in need of care you need to be a special person and unfortunately I believe we have lost that. Especially at this place!

Wonderful facility. It is clean, well managed and ALL of the staff is very friendly and seem very happy to be working there.  That carries over to how they relate to the residents and the care that is given to them.  The facility offers a range of social events and activities.  I believe that my sister is getting very good medical care and physical therapy.  I would higly recommend Heartland.

My mother was in this facility and it was terrible. Three people to a room with only 2 ft between the beds. No privacy, my mother had so many problems trying to sleep because her roommates had dementia/Alzheimer's and were moaning or yelling out all hours of the night. My sister witnessed one male nurse who was always grumpy tell one of the ladies who needed to go to the bathroom "you're always giving me problems". The poor people there just sat in wheelchairs in the hallway slumped over. It was extremely depressing and the odor of urine is unbearable. Once we moved my mother you another care facility, she rebounded and was no longer depressed!! Heartland is not a place I would  recommend for a loved one!!!

I have worked here since August 2018 and I very much enjoy the environment of this facility. Coworkers and management are very friendly and easy to approach with any suggestions or concerns. The Administrator Cindy is definitely the glue that makes this facility what it is! There are only 51 beds here so the facility is very homey and residents are treated like family. I would recommend this facility to a friend or family member in a heartbeat!

Outstanding facility for rehab!!!!  I am the facility manager of multiple group homes.  The past three years 2 of my people have needed rehab after medical issues so they could return home.  The team of care providers at this facility helped us get these 2 stronger so they could return home in a timely manner.  They did so good with my first person that I insisted the 2nd person go there as well.  Once again, they listened, they communicated, they worked with us as a team to support the person at their facility to grow stronger and successfully make it back home!  We cannot say thank you enough for especially the physical therapy team!   Thank you as well to the rest of the care team for providing a loving, caring environment for my people to recover!  Together we make a difference!!!

Cna, nursing, therapy, and everyone involved in my care really do care about me. I've only been here a short time and can tell how pleasant the staff. Everyone is upbeat and outgoing, i feel like I am with family here. The care here is awesome. I'd recommend heartland Hampton to others for rehab .
