My passion for anything fashion, hair and make-up is what lead me to become a cosmetologist. Since graduating from La’ James International College in 1998 my passion for the salon industry has grown and evolved with each passing year. I have a thirst for knowledge, and because of this I have had the opportunity to receive training at the Bumble and Bumble University in New York City, was selected to go to Vancouver to train in the Advocate Program for AG Hair Cosmetics, attended the Redken Show in Las Vegas, have taken several hands on classes with Wayne Grund, the founder of Surface Hair, and continue to attend beauty shows in the Midwest each year. These are a few of the many classes I have attended amongst Pravana color, Sorme Makeup, product knowledge, inspirational, and business related classes such as Champ Camp and Cash Flow Camp to help myself achieve success in this industry. I am certified in Perfectress Hair extensions and Easihair Pro extensions. As I love being a hair stylist and colorist my role here at Mod is evolving and my goal for the future is to continue learning so I can be a good mentor, teacher and coach to my amazing team here at Mod. Being able to work every day in an environment that thrives off teamwork is a real blessing. Owning Mod Hair Color Salon & Beauty Store is a dream come true and it challenges me to be a better version of myself each day.
