Heather has countless connections in the South Charlotte area, and lives in the town of Matthews with her family. Her other areas of expertise include the Charlotte-area bedroom communities of Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Waxhaw and Weddington.
Originally from Lynchburg, Virginia, Heather earned her Bachelor of Arts from Queens University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Wingate University, both respected local institutions. She found her calling in helping others navigate the labyrinth of real estate, and nothing pleases her more than making sure her clients buy and sell their homes with the knowledge that they have an expert helping them through every step of the process.
As a professional, Heather thrives in the family-style, team-oriented atmosphere of Coldwell Banker of the Carolinas. When setting her personal goals, she finds even greater joy in helping her clients achieve their goals, as well. When not at her work home, Heather lives in Matthew’s Brightmoor neighborhood, among friends and family. She is “very married” to her husband, Town of Matthews Commissioner Chris Melton, and is the devoted mother of two teens, son Hunter and daughter, Sarah. When outside the office (but never further than a phone call away) Heather enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
