Nothing fancy but it was an amazing weekend away. Quiet and peaceful and all the seasonal campers were friendly. Fishing all day on the Bark River, never got to the fishing pond but I did see others pull fish out of the pond. The owners were very welcoming and very laid back down to earth people. Restroom facilities were clean and maintained well, free hot showers! And for $5 you get a generous amount of firewood. Can't wait to go back!
Stopped there after a long backpacking hike from Kettle Moraine. The owner carted me and my backpack over to the campsite I think he knew I was pretty exhausted. The sites near the river were nice. There was water available at each site as well as electricity. This allowed me to recharge all of my stuff. The shower was nice and clean. The mosquitoes were a little rough near the river, a week later the cool weather would have knocked them done. Plus it’s camping, no surprise. Pete’s is about a block away and you can get pizza there at the bar. It’s a nice quiet time there at the campground and good for anyone that needs a last minute place to stay or even if it’s not last minute.
I wish they would of post prices online! what’s the big secret?? And the man told me today’s July 30th 2019 that they were shutting down due to water problems today. These people are very nasty they kicked me out for no reason even though I paid and did nothing to them. The woman is rude on the phone and just hangs up. She discriminated against people. She is very unfriendly and unprofessional so is he husband. I will never come here. The place is empty. They rather store empty RVs there and be all alone with no campers or people. The place is overpriced.
Very quiet clean, well maintained campground... So nice!
Very family friendly campground with a great Blues jam. Good fishing in the river and tons of frogs on the pond. Enjoy a game of horeshoes or the occasional Eastern Bluebird.

Lovely small campground, immaculate landscaping. Very friendly owners and fellow campers .
Small laid back well kept friendly campground on the river and close to trails
Very clean campgrounds very clean washrooms a great place to stay for the night or weekend or longer
