I've had several pieces repaired here. They have always been nice to me. My husband has had a very expensive watch repaired. I've had my ring re sized. Prices are not unreasonable. They have become my jewelry repair place of choice. I even have a bracelet I can't take off. The jeweler literally takes it off cleans it and puts it back on for me.

My spouse bought a ring from here almost 3 years ago. In that three years, I have been in this store three times regarding my ring. Once because of the sterling silver tarnishing bad that was a quick trip and fixed easily, the next two were because my band kept breaking in the middle and they had to repair it twice at a cost of over $20 each time. Just last week I was at work and happened to look down and the middle diamonds were GONE! I refuse to allow them to charge me to fix this as I know they will charge more than what the ring is worth at this point after charging me twice to repair the band. I will not return to this store and I will pay more to have a reputable diamond store replicate the ring at this point with QUALITY materials that HOLD UP! I would not buy anything from here!!! Buyer BEWARE!

Sold us used jewelry as new! Said it was our faulty we didn't see the sign that said vintage there was no sign that said vintage! The sales lady got the ring out of the men's wedding case we did not!!

My husband bought me two necklaces for Christmas from this store for about $150 each. He was told how they were such great quality which is why they are more expensive. I wore the necklaces for about 6 hours on Christmas Eve and the horseshoe necklace bent and 2 diamonds popped out. I never did anything more than adjust the necklace on my neck. He went back to the store a few days later and they told him he couldn’t return it. We could pay to have it fixed but “clearly” we were rough with it. You’d think I’d notice if someone yanked on the necklace. We returned the undamaged necklace because clearly these are extremely low quality. I’ve had necklaces from a drug store last longer than this. Absolute waste of money and NO customer service. Obviously not a jeweler you can trust. Please do yourself a favor and go to Diamonds Direct or somewhere else where they stand by their products

My husband contacted this place a day or two ago to inquire about a broken bracelet that I have. A woman answered the phone, he had asked if they were able to fix a 14k gold plated sterling silver bracelet. The woman suggested that we bring it in to look at. I also have a necklace that I had wanted to be looked at to see if it was genuine, so I decided to stop by. I came in a day later in person and I believe it was the same woman who had advised us to bring the bracelet in to analyze a bit further. I asked her first if she would be able to look at the necklace of mine that is a Van Cleef and Arpels piece to see if it is authentic. She was very short with me and told me flat out that she wouldn't be able to do this. Then I presented her my bracelet and after looking at it for a few seconds she stated that the bracelet is 14k gold plated and the gold plating would melt if they would repair it. She could have at least told me this over the phone instead of telling me to come in. And with my necklace, I was put off that she didn't even want to take a look at it, she was really curt while telling me that she couldn't get it authenticated--instead she should have said afterwards is that she has a jeweler that could take a look at it. If you are a jewelry shop how do you authenticate your pieces? This left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't ever be coming back.

Bought multiple custom pieces from here over the past 2 years, as a result, they've become my go-to for specialty work. Jodi has always been attentive and helpful. In-store selection isn't huge, but that's not really what this jeweler is about. The goldsmith was able to do difficult setting work that 4 other jewelers wanted to "send out" or outright declined to attempt I love the fact that they do their work in house. owner can be a bit rough around the edges, but has always been frank and polite with me. I'd probably go elsewhere for basic watch batteries and the such, but for custom engagement rings, wedding bands, and tennis bracelets, I'd trust Heins over a ripoff mall shop anyday.

I bought my fiancee's engagement ring and wedding band here, and now we are buying my wedding band. She also had to get her engagement ring resized, and they did it here for an affordable price. They are family owned, and it feels much more friendly and caring than regular jewelry stores. My fiancee's engagement ring was a bit custom, I added rubies instead of diamonds on the side, and they took care of it from start to finish perfectly. We've had a few communication issues in the past, a little bit of confusion about pricing or timing, but overall they work with you to give something something you are excited about and we've both loved working with them.

Disappointed in the way that my Fiance and I were treated. Not treated poorly, but not taken as seriously as we should have been. We came to Heins for wedding bands. We are both younger at just about mid 20's and the man helping us seemed as though we were wasting his time I'm guessing he thought we couldn't afford much. That was until my fiance fell in love with one of the rings and we decided to buy her's there and I pulled out the credit card. Then he was ready to help us and wanted to help me find a ring. I declined and will be going to another jewelry store for my wedding band and to have the one that we bought for my fiance resized. Selection was average and service was terrible until he knew I had money to spend but then he was very nice for the rest of the transaction. Advice would be if you are younger stay away as they will not help you. Or wear a tuxedo when you go in to be taken seriously. Show you have money and they will be helpful, but I would rather stay away from businesses like that.

Highly dissatisfied with my recent visit. I had a cheapish ring that a gem fell out. They charged me to put a new gem in and it fell out 2 days later. Took it to another jeweler and they told me that if they fixed it the gem would fall out again bc there was nothing to hold it in. They did not inform me of this at the time. I had another ring sized and when I got it back it looked like it was not cleaned or polished. I also brought some other rings in to be cleaned and as I was telling the man what stones they were he acted like I was absolutely clueless and had no idea what I was talking about, then said “well since I don’t know what gems these are and I can’t put them in the cleaner.” I was stunned because I had just got done telling him what they were. Customer service is very poor here and they treat you like you have no clue what you jewelry is or made of. Will definitely not be going back!

David has been very generous with both my mother and my grandmother over the years. He has taken very good care of them, from helping fix a watchband on something of sentimental value only to Jody helping guide my mother to selections that give her the most quality for her money. My mother will swear by their layaway plan!
