A lovely cafe with the sweetest staff ever. These ladies are so friendly and attentive! Very cute with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor patio seating. Parking can be a bit hard to find, there are some lots and street spaces nearby. There’s a bathroom outside too, just ask staff for the door code. Decent prices and decent food. The quiche of the day was flavorful with great texture, and the Spanish latte was excellent. Would recommend and definitely go back
Absolutely love this bakery and cafe! This is one of the most unique places to eat at in South Pasadena. Their food and service are amazing. They have very unique pastries and side dishes as well. It is a must stop for breakfast or brunch if you are in the city. I highly recommend dropping in for a bite.
Heirloom is a great place to enjoy breakfast, brunch and lunch. Their desserts look amazing and we will for sure be trying them next time. My fiancé and I shared the French chicken sandwich and the breakfast burrito with potatoes. Both were delicious and portioned perfectly for the price. The staff was friendly and the patio is great for enjoying the weather under the shade.
My husband and I love it here. The food is good, not over priced and they have a very decent selection. I ordered the quiche with fresh fruit my husband ordered an omelet with potatoes. The portions are big not complaining and the fruit was actually very sweet and fresh. We went on a Sunday morning and it was packed, we luckily got a table outside but I saw a number of people looking/waiting for a place to sit. Parking wasn't an issue, we found street parking on the same block.
Quality was quite good on the quiche! Not sure on the mocha; if I accidentally got a latte instead it was good but light on the coffee in my book; if it was actually a mocha some chocolate seemingly on the bottom then not so great. I get to whole move to paper straws but it lasted under 5 minutes and the rest of my order took over 15, so the moist gooey paper flavor doesn't help either. ‍. So, seems to be a good cozy coffee with a bite kind of place, which is my kind of place, but unless I happen to move nearby and want a relaxing walk and hangout, then it doesn't suit me as well as others even though there's a lot to like about this place. It's quite busy as a measure.
Had breakfast in this lovely bakery store in S. Pasadena area. Tasteful bread, salads & sweets too! I totally recommend it.
The first time here I loved everything about this place. The workers were nice, and the food was great. I can't wait to try the coffee
I had a great meal and experience. I got the French Chicken Sandwich along with the Hostess cupcake. The sandwich was delicious and the cupcake was not my favorite haha. When asked how my food was, I informed them how I enjoyed the sandwich and not so much the cupcake. They were kind enough to give me one of their Red Velvet cupcakes to try. I was embarrassed about it after but grateful for their kindness . Overall, I highly enjoyed my Heirloom and will definitely be going back again.
Woman at the register didn't seem to like that I didn't tip on a takeout order. She couldn't be bothered to give me eye contact when handing me my receipt or even say "thank you". Won't be returning.
Smiles, excellent coffee and sumptuous dishes, all the classics, plus daily specials -- what more can you ask for? Excellent omelette and chilaquiles, all served freshly prepared and friendly. Portions are ample
