I for one am glad to see Helen Back Pizza back in Crestview. I have personally always enjoyed Helen Back pizza the best. Today we had the 16-inch pepperoni and mushroom, and it was spot on. It also did not break the bank to enjoy our meal there. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with plenty of seating and a clean and well-maintained interior. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to help you find the perfect pizza or other dish. The restaurant is in a convenient location on the North side of town by Winn Dixie. There is plenty of parking with handicap parking and handicap restrooms on the premises. Overall, Helen Back Pizza is a fantastic place to go for a pizza meal in Crestview. Thank you Chris for stopping by our table and thank you Brittney for the awesome service! Highly Recommend! Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and restrooms. Tables are spread out and not bunched up.
This pizza is on point!!!! I did a large double pepperoni and bacon Highly recommended In and out in 15 min Feed 2.5 very happily Staff was very friendly Store was busy Guy in charge was schooling the newbies on how to make the perfect pie… heard him pointing out the hot spots that needed to be avoided and what was acceptable to serve and when it needed a recook Def hitting up the lunch special soon 10/10 Pizza 100% needs to be eaten asap The 1st 10 minutes of this pies life is magical if taken advantage of.. still way above par 1 hour after leaving store

Never eaten here before so decided to give it a try. The pizza was mediocre at best. We decided to start with the OG - a pepperoni pizza - you can’t go wrong. My hubby thought it was good, I thought it lacked flavor. We also ordered the chips and salsa because I was intrigued - chips and salsa on a pizza menu - ok! The homemade salsa was GREAT! A tint of sweetness and just enough heat! I like it more than the pizza. The chips were bagged I can almost taste the brand. Homemade chips would be SO BOMB with their homemade salsa! We also ordered “cheesus chrust”. It was just ok. Probably wouldn’t eat here again based off this food order.
Our pizza from Helen Back Pizza Crestview was awesome! They do have vegan cheeses and meats but we don’t like how they make our bodies feel so we ordered no cheese, bbq sauce, sun dried tomato , black / green olives, & artichoke hearts. There’s something about the way they make their crust that is unlike other pizza. I enjoy it. Also the environment is fun to hang out in. Worth going on a date here — at Helen Back Pizza Crestview.
Pizza was pretty good. I would just personally like the crust a little more done. Overall everyone loved it! Very clean and nice inside as well!
Ordered take-out and for $25 PLUS tax I expect more toppings and flavor! Our pizza wasn't much thicker than a piece of paper and had barely any toppings, especially for the price. And the pizza was barely warm even though we're only 9 minutes from the restaurant. So disappointed and won't be back! EDIT: I know what a Margherita pizza is thank you, I don't think YOU do. Your "Florida version" of a Margherita pizza is THIN and LACKS cheese AND FLAVOR. It was like eating an over cooked breadstick. The only thing I could taste was the basil...As I stated before, I won't be back.
Pizza was huge, which was great! Bottom was a bit burnt, the salsa and chips wasnt worth the buy bc it had way to much of a vinegary taste. I know it just opened and i know we will be back to give them a 2nd chance. . Maybe turn the oven down about 10 degrees? Just a suggestion.Food: 3/5
An updated review. 2023, June 13. Tonight, I tried the taco pie. First, let me tell you this pie was exceptional. I have spent the last 5 years trying to find a taco pie that is flavorful. I have had good taco pie from one place, and nowhere has been able to dethrone them. Until tonight. This pie is even better than most taco places in town for tacos. Matt, the manager, is a God send. He embodies what a true leader should be. Even if the pizza sucked, which it does not, we would be back because of Matt. He is always out helping and interacting with guests. He truly goes above and beyond. I also appreciate how on Mondays this company gives back to the men and women and the familiess of those in the Armed forces who keep our freedom free. If you need a place to watch the game, come on down. I love the sports vibe. They plan on putting in a full bar, expected to be done in time for football! So plan on this being the new spot to check out your team destroy their opponent! Some of the best pizza around. Full of flavor. The 10 in is perfect. Management and staff are exceptional. They were welcoming. Everyone had a smile, and the experience was outstanding. Will definitely be back. Excited to try the raggin cajon. Most importantly, the sauce. This sauce reminds and tastes like a traditional Italian pizza sauce. The aroma of the garlic had my mouth watering. Upon tasting, I was sold. la perfection
I've left a 5-star review before, but tonight, the service and atmosphere were degraded. It seemed cold and unfriendly. Nobody checked to see how our pizza was or came to see if we wanted a box. And there were only 3 tables eating at the time. Last time, we had the owner/manager walk around, but what a difference when he's gone. Now, when we go back, there will be no tip at the counter. If there's good, friendly service, then the tip will go in the jar later. I no longer agree with paying for tips when ordering at the counter. These younger generations need to understand that tips are earned, not mandatory. Sara, the supervisor, never went more than 4 feet from the register. After I spoke with her about our disappointment, she seemed to huddle at the counter between the kitchen and her area with 3 employees and when they all look at your table, well that isn't a good friendly feeling either. Good pizza brings people back, but good service and pizza bring us back sooner. Hope this was constructive and has a positive outcome.
