Helix Scribe Solutions provides highly qualified and trained personnel to serve as medical scribes in various medical settings. Helix Scribe Solutions began in 2014 when a group of forward thinking Emergency Department physicians saw the impact that EMR was having around the nation on provider efficiency metrics. They worked to find a way to mitigate these impacts and came up with solutions that ranged from adding additional physician time to adding more support staff, to scribes. The one solution that offered both cost effectiveness with improved provider and patient experience was scribes. After looking at companies that offered scribe services, they determined to build their own organization with a focus on excellent training, high caliber scribes and a commitment to quality. The first scribes came online during the summer of 2015 and Helix has been expanding ever since as more and more providers seek to improve their lives through the use of scribes.
