A community store with a little of everything in it. Clothes, books, dishes, shoes, knick knacks, ect. Stop in and take a look around. Help local busines
Hello Everybody, my name is C Renee Switzer. I am not the owner of Helpers Community Service. I set up this page for this very sweet 93 year old lady. Her name is Viola Bucci and she is the owner of Helpers Community Service.
Ms. Bucci has been in business since 1970. She has had 5 different locations for her store in Gloversville, NY. Currently she is located at 103 N. Main St, Gloversville, NY. Let me tell you a little bit about how she started:
One day there was a house fire right next door to a church down on S. Main St. in Gloversville. The family went over to the Father over at the church and asked him if they by chance have any warm blankets and clothes for the family, but mainly for the children. He could not help so he turned to Ms. Bucci and asked for her assistance in trying to find stuff for this family. Well Ms. Bucci started looking around and then thought of something. Lets set something up for families that need some where's they can go to find stuff like this. So then Helpers Community Service was born. She has been running strong since 1970.
Ms. Bucci's store has a little of everything that you could possible need. Clothes, shoes, books, kitchen supplies, ect. This is a second hand store so the items have been used but why spend a bunch of money on clothes at others stores that are nation wide when you can get them so much cheaper at a local business and the clothes are in great quality. I got a electric carving knife from there and I love it. Check out the pictures of the store.
So come and join us in helping out the local businesses and stop in to Helpers Community Service today. Do Not forget to say Hello to Ms. Bucci.
