We are a resale boutique selling items for women, children, household items, and more! Proceeds benefit Coastal Women's Shelter for 3 counties!

Description

Each donated item is inspected before going on the sales floor. We carry clothing lines such as London Fog, Talbots, Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger just to name a few. Our items are low cost and budget friendly. We only accept items from smoke free homes. We invite you to come and shop and support the Coastal Women's Shelter!

"We are a small nonprofit organization that raises funds for the Coastal Women's Shelter by selling to the public. We accept gently used women's and children's clothing, shoes purses, jewelry, accessories and small household items, from non smoking households. Please call 252-633-6305 to set up a appointment for drop offs, as we quickly fill up. 100% of our profits go to the Coastal Women's Shelter.Thank you for your support."

Walked in just before closing. Found a great pair of jeans. Lucinda was super welcoming & friendly and invited us back another time so we’d have more time to shop. Very nicely organized and terrific mission. Bravo!
Great place. We just moved here and had many items to drop off including blankets for the shelter. The volunteer working the store at the time helped us carry everything in. It is a small store but everything was organized neatly. We were told a little bit about the charity and I asked about volunteering. I will be back to shop and hopefully volunteer in the future. I do want to say that before you write a bad review for a store where volunteers are working you should think about who you are hurting. This store profits a woman's shelter. My first experience was fantastic. Be kind!
Great selection of donated items, mostly for women. Good selection of knickknacks and used books.
In my opinion: The best way to help CWS, is to buy something. Especially if everyone is donating.
I’m grateful for what this place stands for but this was the second time I’ve come into this store without being greeted while the ladies who came in after me were given a “Hello how are you” Not sure why I’ve been ignored each time but there won’t be a third.
They don't have much merchandise to sell, unlike 3 or 4 years ago. I decided I was going to donate some of my clothes that I just didn't wear. I called, asked when I could drop them off, it was a Saturday when I called. The lady that answered wasn't very pleasant and matter a factly tone stated, Monday and Friday's 9:30 to 1:30, by appt.only! I asked, what if someone works M-F? Keep in mind they are open on Saturdays She said, someone would have to drop them off for me. I called back ask if I could have someone drop them off, nope not this Monday was booked for drop offs and only one spot available on Friday! Really!? I try to donate to organizations that help others, but the person/policy wasn't very accommodating for those wanting to donate gently used items. Know wonder they didn't have much of a selection when I visited a couple months ago. I guess I will have to find a different charity.
Very rude worker. Refuses to follow the law regarding medical conditions. Won’t be shopping there again! No one offered us a mask. AND we were shopping for 20 minutes and were even greeted by the worker when we first came in. She never said anything then. It wasn’t until after my son came in that something was said. According to the ADA, you MUST make alternative ways for us to shop. She refused to bring our selections outside so we could purchase them. Your excuse is a blatant lie. AND, we were the only ones in the store, so your excuse you gave my son about the employee being busy with other customers is another lie. From the ADA WEBSITE. A complaint has been filed. “It is important that we all work together to address unlawful discrimination, including violent acts or threats based upon protected classes. As in all emergencies, the COVID-19 outbreak has affected people of many different races, religions, and ethnicities, as well as those with disabilities. Unlawful discrimination may also discourage people from coming forward to seek treatment or information. Laws prohibiting unlawful discriminatory behavior must and will be vigorously enforced.” Also from the Ada. owners.[Woman wearing a face mask and gloves delivering a shopping bag.] If a person with a disability is not able to wear a face mask, state and local government agencies and private businesses must consider reasonable modifications to a face mask policy so that the person with the disability can participate in, or benefit from, the programs offered or goods and services that are provided. The requirement to modify a policy, practice, or procedure does not include individuals without disabilities, as they are not protected under the ADA. Examples of reasonable modifications to a face mask policy Allow customers to order online with curbside pick-up or no contact delivery in a timely manner; Allow customers to order by phone with curb-side pick-up or no contact delivery in a timely manner; Allow a person to wait in a car for an appointment and enter the building when called or texted; or Offer appointments by telephone or video calls As I said before, WE two were the ONLY ones in the store, and at NO time were we offered a face mask. And I specifically asked the worker to bring our purchases outside and we’d pay for them. We walked around with them for 20 minutes already. She just said no. Go.
It was nicely arranged. Didn't have much to offer plus sizes 22W & up, smaller kids section. Must be between size SM to XL to get a variaty! Clean place, No public restroom.
Great bargains and supports coastal womens shelter
Need to rectify their debit machine so it doesn't charge you more than once. Thus, causing potential banking issues. This has been a repeat problem when I have purchased items there. WILL NOT CONTINUE SHOPPING THERE!
