Hendersonville Animal Hospital was founded in 2006 and began accepting clients in February 2007. The animal hospital is the realization of a life long dream of Dr. Aine Corridon. She began working in the veterinary field in 1990 walking dogs, cleaning kennels and doing anything that would give an edge to an aspiring veterinarian.

Dr. Aine Corridon is a 1992 graduate of Hendersonville High School. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from Auburn University and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. Dr. Aine Corridon began practicing veterinary Medicine in 1999.

In March 2012, Dr. Jennifer Wilkinson joined our team. Dr. Jennifer Wilkinson is a native of Ohio and she moved to middle Tennessee in 2006. She is a 2000 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. We are so lucky to have her practice veterinary medicine with us.

The new management, namely Ashley, is completely corrupt. She takes advantage of people with disabilities and price gouges. Also she is rude and an absolute bully. My sister in law, who has been a client for 5 years and has a severe brain injury, was charged almost $900 just for spaying a perfectly healthy 6 month old cat and wasn't told until after the procedure was done. She was taken into an empty room and bullied by Ashley. This was all completely uncalled for. My sister in law is a totally awesome woman. She is wonderful to everyone she meets and loves everyone. She donates a lot to this animal hospital, things they desperately need! Because of the excellent service she has always received before the new management. I would highly recommend finding ANY other animal hospital. DO NOT GO HERE!
I can’t thank Dr Wilkinson enough for the attention, time, and support she has given our cat Marlo. Last week Marlo had a small stroke and Dr Wilkinson has given her the best care possible. She made time out of her busy schedule to fit us in twice and has called with follow ups and results when she said she would. She is extremely knowledgeable and comforting during this challenging time. We know we are in good hands with her.
Just moved to the area and they were recommended. Loved the vet and her assistant. Very good with my dogs and very thorough. They are a bit pricey but my fur babies got great care and are worth it so I'll be going back.
We absolutely love Dr. Wilkinson. She takes great care of dogs, Ralphy and Richard. She has been so patient with our aging dogs and takes the time to listen to all of our concerns and answers all our questions. She knows our dogs well and even takes the time to explain things to our kids. We cannot imagine going anywhere else.
I brought my cat here for an emergency visit the day before a holiday, and they made room for her. They were all kind and thorough. I’m so grateful to everyone at Hendersonville Animal Hospital for taking good care of my cat and making time for her on an already busy day.
Dr. Read was most helpful and thorough. She even called the specialist who had been testing and treating my little dog, and requested and received the lab work report and all details in order to be up to date on treatments, etc.
After getting into the trash I knew my dog had i jested a foreign body. I immediately took her to this vet- her primary. I explained the situation and they did $300 in x rays to tell me x rays do basically nothing and to wait to see if it passes. Two days went by and my dog was violently Ill. I took her back and they did more x rays once again to no conclusion. Then they suggested fluids. So I kept her there all day then they did more x rays- still telling us nothing. It wasn’t until almost close that a heavy suggestion of an ultrasound which they don’t do was mentioned. I then- after $1,000 for the day- took her to a hospital where they kept her overnight into the next day when she could get an ultrasound. By that time it was too late. This 13 year old dog would have to have surgery where- if an ultrasound would’ve been suggested initially she could’ve had an endoscopy. But that was never mentioned by her vet. So I had to make the decision to put her to sleep when if I had been instructed by the professionals I trusted a lot of pain and money could’ve been avoided. It was even mentioned by the vet “I wish I would’ve suggested an ultrasound when you first brought her in” and “I’m kicking myself for not doing labs when she was first in” all the way to “if it was me, and I’m not saying it’s your fault, but in this situation I would at least try all I could to save her”. The absolute worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. I don’t think they respect the bond people have with their pets or even look beyond their own billfold for a second to consider the emotional trauma and financial strain they could cause a pet owner.
Always a good experience w Dr Wilkinson!! She's so kind& gentle, follows up promptly when needed!
I have nothing but great things to say about this office. They are always so nice and courteous when you call, and they take fantastic care of our Husky and German Shepherd!
Everyone here has been fantastic with both of our dogs. They go above and beyond to make sure we are always taken care of and our dogs are healthy!
