Had a severe back pain for three days. The doctor and nurse took care of me and my baby. I was feed well and my Doctor made sure that I was taking care of. I’m recovering from my infection while pregnant but happy they took care of us.
We had our sweet girl 3 days ago and our entire birth team was just absolutely incredible. They were all so kind. I had an entire 12 page birth plan and naturally nothing went as planned as I didn’t know I was in labor until contractions were 4 minutes apart. Even though I didn’t get to do anything I had planned, they made our entire experience absolutely amazing. They made sure every need, concern, question, everything was taken care of with absolute love. My husband and I are still talking about how amazing our nurses, the lactation consultant, Doctor, pediatrician, anesthesiologist and even social worker was. We will be coming back if we have another little one. After two extremely traumatic experiences with my first two births at a different hospital I had extremely high expectations for this one and they completely exceeded our expectations. The nurses made our baby girls birthday the best day we’ve ever experienced.
I had a great experience! I had my twins here via c-section. The nurses are super knowledgeable and explained every step of what was happening to me. They helped get my babies here safely & I am so grateful for them always!
The staff made my family member feel stressed and her concerns as unimportant. She had to have a caesarean right at 5 weeks early, while we were blessed with a healthy baby and mom, the baby has lost weight at a good percentage for her size, my sister was not assisted in walking as she needed after a surgery, and after 2 days old they are “highly encouraging” her to discharge, after normal discharge hours, when she can’t walk at all, has not walked since surgery, baby is very small, struggled with eating, and when I called to share my concerns the nurse in charge was defensive and stated “she is receiving the same care as everyone else gets in her situation” ... if they are suggesting a preemie, who is losing weight and not eating well should be discharged at 2 days old then they should seriously consider relooking at their protocols. Family should be able to leave healthy, not stressed and upset, and heaven forbid happy not just about their newborn but their experience. Highly disappointed and would not recommend.
My whole nurse and dr crew were so amazing! Everyone was so nice!
I don't have good things to say about Hendricks Emergency Room care and staff....but the staff are caring and helpful at the birthing center. My niece was definitely in good hands!
All three of our kids have been born here and the nurses in L&D are phenomenal.
