Very nice park. Well kept grass areas and clean picnic area. Bathrooms are readily available, but not 100% clean. Baseball fields look good. Like the basketball ball courts also. Tennis courts were clean and available too. Playground: Alot of space for the kids to run around. Restrooms: Not the best smelling. Dog-friendliness: Keep your dog on a leash. Picnic area: Lot's of tables. Recommend bringing your own BBQ.
Wonderful place for families and their children
Nice park at the end of Elk Grove. It has bathrooms, shaded picnic areas, bbq grills, basketball courts and tennis courts.
Backer park is small big mighty. Playground, baseball diamond, tennis courts, basketball courts, bathrooms, green grass and parking lot. What more could you want? Another Elk Grove gem.

Clean and lots of great structures for kids. Water area is nice and gives plenty of space for multiple kids to run around and not miss out on the water jets. Great park on hot days and shaded play structures.
Probably one of the only parks here in Sacramento that has a see saw. My daughter loves this place. It's a huge park with public restrooms and lots of things for the kids to play on. Wish Folsom and other cities in the east has as many quality and variations of parks as Elk Grove does. Other cities need to learn more about how to build their parks like Elk Grove, and build more... Especially in this pandemic time.
