Booked an appointment for 08/01, think it took about 2 1/2 , 3 months to get this appointment. I show up to be told they cancelled it. They said they called me but the line just hung up. I never received a call or a voicemail. I planned my entire day around it. The woman at the desk was nice so that is why I did two stars, otherwise it would be one. She was not able to get me another appointment, she said if I were pregnant there were plenty of appointments available, otherwise there was nothing for months. She said to try myself on my chart. I feel that if they didn't reach me when they called they could've text or emailed or sent a MyChart message. I was going to switch away from Henry Ford all together since this isn't the first time I've been cancelled on, or waited months to even be seen. I decided I will try a different doctor and location since I've been with Henry Ford my entire life. Just super frustrated that my time is not valued at all. Giving it another try and hoping for the best.
My Mom has been suffering from severe pain following a shingles attack. She has been everywhere with no relief so after reading the description of the Henry Ford Pain Clinic on their website that says they will provide a complete investigation of the patient and work up a plan of treatment, etc I decided to make an appointment for her. We went and saw first the nurse then the physician assistant and then the Doctor. I had prepared a complete history of all the treatments that my Mom had tried as background history. Well, like all the other places tried, the Doctor looked at it and simply offered two other options for treatment that weren't listed. No exam, no test ordered, nothing. Went away and came back with two brochures covering the suggested treatments. I guess their website description is all for show. Did nothing to confirm the cause of the pain just took our word - how sad. The Doctor was nice but pretty much another guess and try solution. I do not believe we will be back
I wish I could give them half a star. I have yet to visit this location and this health system in general, and not be totally inconvenienced and or totally put out of my way. I have been with HFHS over a decade and They still have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I delivered my first child with them and at every stage and botched appointment scheduling and terrible service, pushing my child out was the easiest part. They are literally nightmarish. They will ramp up your anxiety when seeking treatment for your condition. Whatever it may be. They’re either heavy-handed or extremely lax when administering care. PLEASE RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!
Dr. Linda Holland needs to be fired immediately and all of her staff as well. I’ve never been treated so poorly at an appointment before in my 43 years here. I’m so disappointed in how our health system has turned out to be. To Deny patients of the care that they do desperately need is the lowest form of a human being you can especially when it’s in your line of work. Staff is highly unprofessional as well don’t seek help for integrative medicine, Also I’ve heard stories of others being judged based off their history with other Henry ford doctors, Willing to give them a try I regret it. With all of these negative views I’m shocked upper management haven’t looked into this, This whole facility needs to be shut down immediately.
The Arabic young lady At the Radiology counter on March 28th at 3 p.m. made me wait until she finished her conversation with her coworker about 3 min long to address me at all. That's terrible. She looked me dead in my face, never said hello or I'll be with you in one minute at all. Some people just can't hide it. Smh.
Great clinic, very caring and try to deal with patients and parents concerns with the upmost care.
Highly disappointed. Sought out care for a chiropractor and didn’t go the way I expected an hoped for it to go. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a doctor behave the way I was treated almost grade school level attitudes and gossiping. You would think someone who’s trained so many years for a job would behave in a professional manner but boy was I wrong. If you seek care here dont try Linda.
They canceled my appointment and filled the spot without telling me and would do nothing at all to help me.
Safety precautions were in place and everything was marked clearly at HF Optimize Staff was friendly when they got to you but it took a few minutes to be acknowledged before I was told that someone would be with me while I waited to pick up my new glasses. Other than that, the service rep/tech was courteous, pleasant and she went out of her way to adjust my new frames and she adjusted my older frames and prescription glasses. She made sure i was satisfied on the fit for each pair. I had a good experience and will be returning.
I go to this location for the convenience and for the pediatrician. I like the doctor but she is always running 50 minutes-1 hour behind the scheduled time every appointment. It’s getting more and more frustrating waiting around while trying to keep a toddler occupied. The front office staff usually has an attitude.
