Championship Training for Track and Field Athletes
Herbert A. Johnson Jr. has been training athletes in track and field in the USA and Internationally for over 35 years. His athletes have gone on to succeed in many areas of competition, such as: USATF, all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, TAC/AAU, NFHS, SCHSL, SCISA, as well as in semi-pro football and basketball.
HJTFA specializes in helping track and field coaches, athletes, and programs that are looking for increased track and field success through the use of proven traditional, contemporary, and innovative training methods and techniques.
HJTFA also helps mentor track and field athletes and coaches through the process of the cross-country, indoor, and/or outdoor track and field season. We mentor from pre-season preparation to season-ending team evaluation. We help with community feeder network and relations, as well as public and media attention. Our goal is to have all of our school and club programs become self-sufficient and successful.
HJTFA also helps inform athletes of post-secondary athletic and educational opportunities, and matching athletes with post-secondary education. 90% of all student-athletes training with HJTFA have gone on to receive a post-secondary education.
In addition to track and field training, HJTFA also offers conditioning training for all sports and various other purposes (health and wellness, preparation for entering into military service, etc.).
