Heritage Animal Hospital

We are new to Heritage Animal Hospital and Dr. Maxey went above and beyond for the big boy’s checkup today! They gave him spray cheese, hot dog, peanut butter, and sliced cheese. They keep it on hand to ensure “happy visits”. I told them to put the muzzle on because he grunts when others mess with him. Plus, he had to have a full check up. The staff did amazing!!! If you are in the Clear Lake/Friendswood area, I HIGHLY recommend them!

Dr Maxey is great. I started taking my three dogs there almost five years ago. Started with Dr Kidney and after she retired started seeing Dr Maxey. Love all the people that work there.

Dr. Maxey was very thorough in examining my dog and provided me with lots of information regarding his issues. The vet tech was also very sweet with my dog.

I started to take my horse of a dog here when I moved to Pearland and they took great care of him. He sadly passed away of old age. I was very upset because he was my best friend and I felt like they handled it great. I now take my new dog here also and the front staff recognize him right when he comes in. The owner is very down to earth with her treatments and she is the only one I will use there. The younger vet to me has a very bad bed side manner even for a vet. I found her to be rude and condescending. ** update to my original review. Sadly the older vet Dr. Kivney has retired and left the younger vet in charge of the practice and I will not take my dogs there any more.

We are so grateful for Dr. Kivney and her wonderful staff. She has always taken care of all our pets with great love and compassion. I totally trust her to diagnose and do what's best for whoever we bring in to her. We couldn't be more thankful for all she's done for us and our pets over the years.

The staff and Dr Maxey were so helpful and sweet with my anxious and weary pup. They allowed me to help keep him comfortable during the exam and were very loving with him. We both appreciated the extra care given.

Dr Kivney has been seeing our dogs for many many years. She and her staff help to ensure that my dog is well taken care of, especially as she ages. They proactively give ideas and ensure that all of our questions are answered. My dog loves to be kenneled there as the staff treat her like she's a rockstar. I have been with Heritage for over 10 years and have not had a bad experience. The vets, especially Dr. Kivney are highly knowledgeable, kind and understanding. When the occasional delay occurs, the staff are always there to explain the emergency and gives you the option to stay or reschedule. Dr. Kivney is particularly good with geriatric and end of life animals.

We’ve been taking our pets to Heritage for almost 15 years. They are compassionate and competent. When our puggle needed dental work, we “shopped around” and found Heritage to be the most reasonable in terms of cost. They’ve also walked through end of life with us and our fur babies twice, with tremendous care and respect. We drive past half a dozen other vets to get to Heritage Animal Hospital and will continue to do so.

We have taken our pets to Heritage Animal Hospital for years and have complete confidence in the staff. Everyone at the clinic is very knowledgeable and provide a complete explanation of treatment options, proper care and administration of medications.
