My mom, Bernice had been a patient at heritage a couple of times in the last year. I found that the staff was very attentive and met all her needs. She loved visiting with the other residence and also enjoyed going into the activities and playing bingo. She enjoyed the food, but especially enjoyed when some of the staff would bring her dishes from outside I would recommend heritage not only for her recovery, but also the great rehab department that they have.
My mom was discharged from a valley hospital after suffering a heart attack and finding blood clots in her lungs. The staff took great care of her and were very responsive to her needs. When she arrived she could not transfer herself from bed to wheelchair without falling. Now, she is going to the bathroom unassisted, transferring herself from bed to wheelchair, walking with a walker almost the full length of the facility, The therapy staff has worked with her everyday. I would highly recommend this facility.
Heritage Health Care Community Outreach team is top notch, Crystal supported our local First Responders this weekend as we being educated on Active Shooter Response. Crystal proved over 70 first responders with lunch, drinks and role players for this event. We truly could not have been more appreciative and well taken care of then what Crystal did for us. Thank you Crystal and Heritage Health Care Center for taking care of your community.
My father-in-law was at Heritage for rehab. Everyone was so nice and caring. They took great care of him!! Shoshanna, Crystal, Chelsea, and Diamond were especially helpful to him. They are amazing!
I was looking for a place for my mom, went in and did a tour. This place is amazing. The staff is beyond amazing. They were so attentive to taking care of the residents. I decided this was the place for my mom.
Heritage Healthcare is one of those places that you can leave your loved one and know that they are in the right care
My dad said there post surgery, they were supposed to keep his surgical wounds clean. He just got home a few days ago, his wounds weren't clean. The surgery sight isn't healing properly because of poor care. He Also had IV treatments, they pulled his central IV line out by accident n didn't have the courtesy to take him the hospital to have it replaced due to money issues?? Not to mention the areas that weren't clean during bath days?!?! If you care about your loved ones check on them here, it's not a good place... My dad even said he'd try to push his call button and no one would show up to help him for at least an hour. I don't understand how you take an oath to care for people but can't do your job.
My father went to Heritage to recover and get physical therapy after a heart procedure. He arrived there at 2:30pm. Nobody checked on him nor took a meal to him until the NEXT MORNING! He’s was frequently without water for stretches of time. There are three times a day the two “water persons” make the rounds to give patients water: before breakfast, before lunch, and before bedtime. That’s it. My father went thru the night and into the morning without water! I guess my 6ft tall burly father should’ve implemented survival tactics and rationed his water portions. The two persons who make “water/snack” rounds were hired just for that purpose. That’s all they were hired to do: give patients water and offer a snack. I’m still upset over this. If you are expecting your loved one to receive the quality care that they deserve and that hospitals strive to give, don't allow your loved one to be taken to the Heritage Health Care facility in Globe, AZ. I am praying for the patients that have to be there. AND for the staff and admin. to fix their jacked up systems and attitudes. I noticed that some of the reviews that gave 5 stars were given a year+ ago and by, who I suspect are, staff members or their associates.
I stayed in May and June, 2018 for IV antibiotics and now, end of July, I'm back in again for more antibiotics. I have been in many facilities in the past 15 years and I rate Heritage in Globe, Arizona as one of the top two that I have been in! My room was clean, nurses were the best, therapists were top notch and went above and beyond to give the best care! Food? OMG, the meals are wonderful! Pretty and appetizing to look at, the quality and taste are deserving of any culinary awards! Better than any of the local restaurants! As a former CNA , I can say that the care these young men and women gave me was exceptional. Every need was taken care of with love and patience as though we were a close knit family. From housekeeping and maintenance to Dr. Layton, administration dietary, activities, therapy all nurses and assistants, and every person in between, they all are special and care about their guests. I would advise all people recuperating from any injury or illness to come to Heritage Care Center for their rehabilitation as well as long term care needs! Thank you Heritage for healing me and making my life so much better!
I don't recommend this place at all.if you send your love ones here be perpaid for the unfair services they get, not being watched over good, being mistreated. They just ignore the residents wend they need help, the cna are just lazy to watch over your love ones. Cna care more about the money and over time and not about your love one's. They lost a residents over 13 hours and was announced over globe radio stations!!! they didn't notice it but they just want to send that resident to another facility....
